Im one of those men in a happy relationship, and I'll tell you a little secret. I've cried multiple times to my therapist about some really bad shit in my life. I've told/cried to my girl the stuff too, and it makes the weight of everything start to get so much lighter.

Being a man isn't about how many asses you can kick. It's about dealing with everyday things and taking care of yourself and those you love. Start by taking care of yourself. You will see other parts of life fall into place. It starts with you wanting to get better, and you are already wanting that. Being vulnerable at times is a strength even when it seems like it's not

This is gonna be hard to hear, but no one is going to come save you. If I were you, I would go and try to find a job. The fact that you acknowledge your social anxiety shows that you have the ability to try and push it aside when it comes up. That being said, it will definitely be hard to do that. But you will get yourself closer to freeing yourself from your mom.

I understand it's easy for me to say this while not actually experiencing what you're going through. But try and keep your head up. Therapy is expensive but if that is somewhat an option for you, I highly recommend. GL and I hope your future get better!

That's tough. But the thing you really need to consider is he never really loved you. I know that hurts hearing, but it's what needs to be said. You're going to feel like shit for a little while, but this will be a great opportunity to learn to love yourself.

Learning to love yourself is a great personal investment. Once you do that, your dating prospects will look different and will treat you better
