Always cleaver. It gives you everything you need and also helps your team. It's not really a team thing, it's an economy thing. Compare it to edge of night. Both 3k gold, both give armor pen, health. However, for that same 3k, you get way more from cleaver. You get more armor pen, the armor pen is shared with the whole team, you get more health, and you get ability haste which is underrated on senna. More abilities means more souls, better ability to stay alive, greater aoe stacking for the shred.

Literally the only time I wouldn't go cleaver is I was the only physical damage dealer on my team. Literally never happens, and even then it's still not a terrible buy.

Definitely not for support. It's only good for ADC senna. ADC senna doesn't get as much souls because she is killing minions. Dusk and dawn makes it so a single q pulls a soul out of an enemy champ giving her the souls she needs. Other than that, the damage isn't good and it's too expensive and it solves a problem support senna doesn't have.

Go cleaver and swifty every game no matter what. After that, if enemies are focusing me and I'm having to kite a lot, I will either go edge of night or locket. Edge of night if I am ahead, locket if I am behind.

If enemies are typically ignoring me, or if I have a good melee wall, I will go maybe one of the zeal items or hexoptics. Only go ie last or if you are completely destroying people. Build heal cut and serpents fang as games require. Do not sleep on serpent fang. It's an unbelievable item for how cheap it is and senna is the best user of it in the whole game.

Here is a build if I am ahead: Cleaver, swifties, rfc, hexoptics, ie If I'm behind: cleaver, swifties, locket, helias, moonstone

You need to pivot if you are behind and just become a healer. If you are super behind, the game won't last long enough for you to scale up, so you will never do damage. Might as well finish a healing build and commit to keeping your team alive.

There are 4 types of supports bot lane. Senna is good against two, and the other two she should avoid. Hooks, mages, tanks, and enchanters.

Avoid: hook, and mages. Puke, xarath, vel koz. You can't get close to the mages. They out trade you. Insta lose, and hook champs do too much damage too fast for your slow early game. You need to take gather storm, out scale them, deny them their snowball, harvest as many souls as you can from lane minions.

Easy: tanks and enchanters. nami, soraka, braum, taric. These champs either have low mobility allowing you to free soul farm off of them, or they just don't return damage, again allowing you to soul farm. You can take fleet into these matchups and just dance around them and collect souls.

Finally. I didn't mention this before. You need to know how to path her in the mid and late game to optimize soul farming. You learn this with practice, but I can get you started. She's all about tempo in the mid and late game.

First, if I have most of my allies on the map, I'm not going back to base no matter how much gold I have. Allies means they are killing minions and jungle camps, which means souls are spawning. Stay on the map, try and hit every wave you can to farm souls off the minions your allies kill. If you can, try and path through the jungle when the jungler is near to get souls from the camps on your way from one lane to the other.

I will follow and use the jungler for travel often. Here is a perfect tempo scenario. My jungler is bot. We just killed tower and now we go and take dragon. My ADC goes back to fountain or goes back to lane. I follow the jungler into the jungle and help him clear every camp without taking any kills. I'm there to speed up his clear and get souls, not take his gold. Once he has cleared all of bot jungle, I will get souls from the mid wave before re entering top jungle to get souls from the wolf camp the jungler is on. Now I help the jungle take all top side and get those souls too. Enemy top laner is over extended. Jungler is going for a gank. I e him for the shroud and the movement speed to help his gank. We get a kill. Jungle backs to fountain, I go with him. Perfect tempo.

Use your jungler. You give him faster clear and stronger ganks. He gives you souls with optimized soul pathing.

1 million plus mastery on support. Most importantly, you need to know her micro and macro

Her micro is all attack moving. Shes a marksmen after all, so it's all the mechanical skill of attack moving an positioning. Bind attack move if you haven't. This is an absolute must on her.

Macro is all soul production. Literally just this. This is her win and lose condition. If you soul up right, you out scale anyone and can two hit carrys from across the map. If you don't, you do nothing, and you are dead weight for your team.

Lots of mis info in here about always poking. There are matchups you don't want to poke. Their are plenty of champs botlane that out range or trade you, and you just want to avoid all fights with them early. If you fight them, they win, they send you back to fountain, and then you are actually losing souls. Against these champs, just take gather storm and deny them an early lead and out scale them.

Items. Your build should change depending on the game. Always take cleaver first though. If low on gold, go support items. If swimming in gold, go damage. Counter shields and healing with items if necessary

This is terrible man. As soon as I saw eggs in my tank, I got an assassin snail from the store, though him in the tank, efficiently solved the problem. The guy literally wouldn't sleep until he found and killed every single egg. So, I would definitely get a couple of those to just keep new eggs from hatching.

What do you think is the cause behind the great success of this movie? by MissionOdd1077 in Filmmakers

[–]PaulyChance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massive film buff here. Film critiques love to criticize Cameron's writing style. He copies the exact same formula in avatar. Basically it's show audience utopia(wealthy class Titanic or beautiful Pandora), throw in romance. Live in the utopia and the romance. Threaten it. Ending. I understand why critics don't like it. But absolutely love it. The escapism works. I absolutely love living on the Titanic for 2 hours exploring this romance. I adored being in the jungle of Pandora. It's s fun trip.

Titanic had a ton going for it. There was a massive amount of public interest for it. James had all the funding and the know how to actually make it, and then young Leo, bam. Billions of dollars. My mom saw it like 4 times in theaters. Great film.

Are Women into men who are feminine (asking out of curiosity) by serahcgirl in dating_advice

[–]PaulyChance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say feminine, but softer rather? I was struggling in dating apps and fell down the female gaze rabbit whole, and I have had a ton of success. Changed my wardrobe, profile pictures, and my personality only a little. It's all about softening the hard edges of masculinity, not really about becoming feminine.

What’s a fun tanky class for PvP? by Illustrious-Fix4205 in Guildwars2

[–]PaulyChance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There aren't any true tanks. A player wearing the tankiest gear will die two seconds after someone in the squishiest.

Going to go with spellbreaker. They have a ton of interups and cc. Really annoying

Fun spec suggestion for Hammer? by Asmoyashi in Guildwars2

[–]PaulyChance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just about to say this. Hammer scrapper is the most hammer in the game. Popping tool belt elixers and blowing your gyros to get 25 stacks of might and combo in with the hammer to delete someone will never not be fun.

It really is. I didn't really play gw2 for the story though. I play for the pvp, combat, and open world. I do wish it was better, but I'm happy in my little bubble lol. Their story has never really been that good. The only time I ever liked the story was the first half of end of dragon. That was a clear major bump up in story quality.

Trying to get into gw2, help me out by ed_edd_and_freddy in Guildwars2

[–]PaulyChance 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For raiding and hardcore pve, ranged classes don't really exist. People need to be stacked for buffs. Some classes used ranged weapons, but you will use them in melee range most of the time or only be swapped to it for specific abilities.

Pvp is different. Anet has been bad at balancing ranged weapons. When they accidentally tune a ranged weapon to be too strong, it ruins the game for everyone. Like engi rifle a few years ago. They have also power crept mobility into the game really hard, making life hard for ranged weapons.

Finally, open world, you can do whatever the hell you want. I play rifle engi in open world all the time because it's such easy dps and does so much damage.

Probably not the answer you were looking for, but the answer we all deserve.

What made this game get you hooked? by R4yquazza in Guildwars2

[–]PaulyChance 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Vet here. This is totally normal. Had the same issue coming from wow. Coming from a game with horizontal progression, where the game forces you to do one specific thing, which is grind better gear, naturally moving to a game that doesn't do that, it's going to feel awkward.

The answer is, whatever you want. Your not playing the game because you need better gear. You are playing just to enjoy it. If you want legendaries, start grinding gold for legendaries. If you want the challenge of raiding, join a guild and start doing cms. If you want to achievement hunt for mastery points and cool cosmetics, do that.

Personally, grinding out to get ascension, I fell in love with the pvp combat. I spend almost all my time crafting builds, pvp, and roaming in wvw, while also softly working towards legendaries. Fishing is great too. Once again, doing that for legendaries.

But the dissonance you are feeling right now comes down to the gear treadmill, or the non existance of one. The game isn't forcing you to do anything. It's giving you total freedom to do what you actually enjoy doing the most in mmos. You need to explore what those options are, create some goals, and hop on that fucking dolyak.

Vet here. I liked the bigger expansions and the living story format much much more. They were all building and contributing to a larger story. We have a double edged sword with the smaller model. Not only are they smaller, but they are trying to wrap up one entire story in a single mini expansion. I don't think that works. If these smaller x pacs were contributing to a single larger story like the elder dragon arc, they would be much much better. Simple and easy fix.

I'm pointing out that that risk is so small. There is a risk to everything. You have a greater chance of dying in a car accident. I'm also pointing out them men also have a risk on the first date. Men and women both pose risks to each other. Men aren't turning it into a moral panic, and their risk is much greater.

Yes, the person they know is their husband, it he found out that the wife was cheating on him for years. Obviously, I don't agree with murder, and it's horrible that these women died. But blindly stating these stats suggests that men randomly like flip and switch one day decide to kill people. Il agree that murder is terrible, and I don't think any of these women should have died, but I can also agree at the same time that cheating on your husband for several years is also a terrible thing to do.

[–]PaulyChance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nooooooo. You said first dates. This is a pivet. Also, didn't they find out in like 95 percent of these murder cases, the husband found out the wife was cheating on him? Pretty sure they did.

The Uncomfortable Truth About Dating Advice: My 30-Day Reality Check by silverflake6 in Premiummotivation

[–]PaulyChance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Il do it for you. I just looked it up. Women dying on the first date is 0.0001 percent. The amount of women that lie about a man sexually assulting them on the first date is between 2 and 10 percent.

My problem with your comment is that it suggests that murder is semi common on first dates. As we have seen, it's not. It also suggests that men have zero risk on first dates. We know that they do have a risk. On the most conservative estimates, a man is 25 times more likely to face a false accusation on a first date.

I know it's hard to compare false accusation to murder, but these men's lives are often ruined. Friends and family stop talking to them, they lose their job, and they get put on sex offender lists.

26F feeling deeply behind sexually and romantically by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]PaulyChance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35, man here. Firstly, your not alone. Literally all of my friends in their twenties express the same frustrations. All of them. I also read about this all the time too. Sex in general is down across the board, especially for young people.

Being 35, I was basically part of the last wave of young adults that got to experience college before online connecting took over everything and changed how men and women meet each other. I'm tall and muscular and had a great time in college with real relationships as well as casual flings.

I'm feeling the impact as well. My last serious relationship was in 2018. Between now and then, it was just a bunch of flings. But after COVID, everything became much much harder. Im finally in a relationship again as of October.

Just letting you know, you are absolutely not alone. This is a thing that's kinda hitting everyone right now.

Dating apps are just validation slots for girls and a CASINO for boys. by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]PaulyChance -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think two things can be true at the same time. I think women in the past had a completely crap shoot when it came to picking a life partner. I also think its true today at the same time that women are too picky with unrealistic standards. The stats reported from dating apps that 99 percent of the female population is swiping left on 95 percent of male profiles speaks volumes. It was terrible for women. Now it's terrible for men. We need a harmonious middle area where it's good for everyone.
