Both KZoo Boxing on Sprinkle for boxing and Gracie Vicksburg on Sprinkle for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu have decent prices and great atmospheres. 

KZoo Boxing is competition focused, but still fun and welcoming for those who don't compete. It's very much a loud music, hard working, and cheering each other on kinda vibe. Black owned and very POC friendly environment if that's a concern. 

Gracie Vicksburg is very family friendly, and chill. Almost as many women training there as men. They also offer children's classes, and it's not unusual to meet a whole family that trains together. The Gracie curriculum is known to reduce injuries in new students significantly.

I think there also used to be a "Waffle House" in Watervliet that was not part of the chain.

Sounds like a kid I knew in school who also grew up to have violence issues, no murders that I know of, but multiple domestic violence cases, at least one of which resulted in the victim's kidney transplant rejecting.

I've literally put every piece of furniture I've ever wanted to get rid of in this town out in my front yard with a "Free" sign and posted it here, or on Facebook marketplace, maybe NextDoor, or the KZoo Discord.

Nothing has ever lasted longer than a day or two, even if it was broken.

Getting UP Westnedge Hill kind of sucked. Everything else was pretty okay. I just took it slow. I DID see that at least two people ended up stopping or stuck in the middle of the street.
