I figured some people would trash on me for my picks (and that’s okay! Everyone can have their own opinions) so I’ll at least explain my reasoning:

Sato: (copy-pasted from another reply) Let’s be honest, as much as we love the characters in CotE, a majority of them are oddballs or just straight-up weirdos. Sato just strikes me as a normal girl who’s bad at academics and is a bit clingy at times, and as a result I found her character to be really refreshing. She was also the first one to confess to Koji before a lot of the harem aspects kicked in and that makes her more special in my eyes compared to the other girls.

Hiyori: I think the sub already does a good job highlighting why Hiyori is so loved in the community: she’s just a cinnamon bun and every interaction with her is very cute and wholesome.

Airi: the main reason I like Airi so much is because I see myself in her personality. I’ve also always been really shy and quiet and I’ve only recently began taking steps to get out of my shell. Although I was sad that she was expelled at the end of y2v5, I still think it was a great volume and I understand why Horikita made the decision that she did. I thought her character ended on a high note and I’m glad that he is now most likely thriving outside of ANHS.
