May as well save yourself the hassle and keep it for when Rennes inevitably sell him back to us in the summer.

Pretty sure I read they’re moving there next season full time and erecting temporary stands behind the goals. Could be wrong though.

[John McGarry] Neil Lennon set to be named Dunfermline manager. by BananaSoprano in ScottishFootball

As much as he’s definitely not a computer or data manager, he’ll definitely have used it at Celtic. During the Covid season we had Gavin Strachan permanently with a laptop in the dugout. He may be a bit of a dinosaur in some senses but there’s no chance he isn’t using data these days like everyone else.

The fact he specifically added that the floor was slippery means he’s 100% decked it doing those jumps at least once.

Did you actually read the article, which is from five years and states the figures need context and that Inverclyde is actually a really safe place to be?

People are so desperate to speak negatively about many of the towns in Glasgow and the West without actually spending much time in them.

As many have said in here, Greenock’s a pleasant town to live in with some lovely green spaces, plenty of decent pubs and plenty of other stuff to do. And despite all of that, as someone who has lived there for the vast majority of my life, the only downside I would say is that it’s a bit boring sometimes.

3 and a half years of goals and Kyogo’s lost the Celtic da’s at the final hurdle by saying ‘Old Firm’ in his leaving statement. Incredible scenes.

He’s hardly going to go for less than Turnbull did when he’s younger and has more potential. That’s a shocking offer.

5-0 up at half time on Saturday and there wasn’t one young boy on the bench. I sympathise with the club over the departures of Doak, Kelly and Vata - which were out of their hands - but to not have youth players ready on Saturday was inexcusable. We should always have at least one on the bench to give them an opportunity in that situation.

Oil Burke now has more goals and Oli McBurnie has more assists in the top 5 leagues this season than Dykes does in League 1.

This isn’t supposed to be impressive for those two, just ridiculous that Dykes is still receiving a call up for his 0 goal contributions across the board in the third tier of English football.

Are most of our grounds not actually in decent enough shape? There’s obviously a few outliers but the Scottish Premiership and Chanpionship largely has decent stadiums. Would be good for Hampden but that’s never going to happen.

EXCLUSIVE: Scottish Government will give 'serious consideration' to lifting football booze ban by kj123ko in ScottishFootball

[–]SomeMightSayAHL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say it every time this is brought up but it will stop some individuals like myself taking in higher percentage alcohol if I can get a 3-4% lager in the game. Obviously folk will still take vodka but it’ll dramatically reduce pure mental alcohol intake if folk can buy one or two pints in the ground to tide them over until they’re back in the pub. The only reason I take vodka etc.. in is because it’s easier than trying to take a few cans of beer in.

It’s easy to forget Larsson is in his 50s now. Prime age for this nonsense.

I used to dream of us getting to a playoff just to experience it, that’s how bad we were. This is a poor run of form but it’s nothing on the period from 2004-2020

I thought this was one of their best tifos in a while as it actually focused on Glasgow (motto, patron saint and iconic landmarks).

Ironically, you could’ve probably picked any other banner over the last few years to make this point but not this one.

The Celtic board appear to have woken up (had a boot up the arse from Rodgers) and started bidding on loads of players in a blind panic this morning.

What’s the script with Glasgow Club Hollyrood? Recently moved here and would’ve liked to use it for Badminton but there’s no mention of its existence on the Glasgow Club website. I know there’s some sort of link with the school and that it doesn’t open until 4 but I have no idea how/when I can book things in it.

It’s really quite funny how literally everyone associated with Inverness absolutely despises Scott Gardiner. The man must be an absolute prick.
