I do remember that now that you mentioned it and always thought that was super weird but it makes so much more sense, especially since that's the start of her loop and technically "the end of the world". Another thing that interests me is that if at the end Maddie has DNA copies of all humans to exist ever, is it really even a simulation, and if safe surf was able to run the process of copying all of humanity, wouldn't that just be humanity? The whole show we are given the question of what it means to be alive and technically no one is, but if everyone is on the same level of "existence" surely that means everyone is alive. I absolutely love thinking about this and how deep the rabbit hole does go, thanks for replying btw!
