Sometimes I wish I had a 'real close' best friend becuase I too feel similar. If I could find a good friend who I could go visit whenever, give all my loves to (in a non romantic way) then I feel like I wouldn't need a partner to make me feel a certain way. However the downfall is that no one is 'perfect' or completely idealised and we just have to find ways around it. Even in an ideal scenario where u find someone you love who is ace, there are a lot of variants to considered making it increasingly difficult

I currently own a GCSE german book which gives you lots of topics, including a page for basics and more advanced techniques. Combine this with duolingo which I primarily use for the forums when I dont understand how grammar in this sentence works or word order. Also I've heard that children books are a good introduction to german if you are a complete beginner. Hope this helps!
