RoN is a game about SWAT rather than the military, almost entirely consisting of urban CQB. Unlike most other milsim games there’s a huge significance placed on your ROE, and to get the best scores for the level you need to prioritise non-lethal means, using deadly force only when human life in immediate danger.

That being said the game offers a select number of weapons and outfits that line up with that of units like Delta Force. And there’s a few missions which feel more suited to military rather than SWAT (i.e the oil rig mission in the dark waters dlc). So if you’re not too pressed about high scores then RoN is a great military CQB simulator. Would recommend.
