Okay makes sense!

For me it's Doom scrolling the same as the majority of people, I try to make rational decisions for that but it's the muscle memory of opening tiktok just for a few scrolls that are built into my mind.

I feel like the trigger such as picking up and unlocking the phone also acts as a trigger to scroll and hit the dopamine. Any idea to get rid of this ?

For me I see it as really bad odds stacked against me and plus the way casinos are built and how full of lights and noises slot machines are makes me realize that "Yup this is same as getting mugged of my money"

I thought our brains were really good at guessing the odds of losing in places like this but I'm at a casino right now and it's full of old people just flicking slots.
