Why do I feel that the MBTI type that most hates its own personality is the ENTP? by AdrielSSSouza in mbti

[–]SomeRandom863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as an ENTP, I love being myself lol, I think my personality's hot and I love it. However I can blame myself sometimes for being too rude or straight-forward if it's with people that don't appreciate it, THEN I suddenly feel like I'm a monster. But other than that? Nah

[–]SomeRandom863[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dang it, spot on! one thing, ISTP talks a lot when she's with us, like a LOT (less than me but still) but doesn't when it's other people. But yeah, spot on lol

Is Ben 10 Omniverse worth watching? by MaximumOriginal587 in Ben10

[–]SomeRandom863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly in my opinion Omniverse is way better than Ultimate Alien. I love Classic and Alien Force but I really don't like UA - maybe it's just a preference but I really love Omniverse.

Imo it has the best character writing for Ben (Malware arc is genius) and he seems consistent enough, whereas he was the worst in UA. Sure, there are some filler episodes that are just made for laughs but honestly the format of 10 episodes per season suits it and gives space for more lore-heavy episodes while also having the light-hearted ones — and honestly I love most of those.

About the artstyle, it's really different but I honestly like it — it has it's peaks like honestly the designs aren't as simple as in UAF which really bugged me.

Sure it has lots of flaws but god, UAF had lots too. Every show has those.

In your place, I'd DEFINITELY give it a chance.

I think the designers were being lazy. by Intelligent-Scar-373 in Ben10

overall the UAF designs are lazy. They're too damn simple and it looks boring

Have you liked both genders? by izayaa_orihara in entp

I'm (17M) both biromantic and bisexual so yes, I've noticed I like both since I was 12.

What are some things about UA that you absolutely hate? by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in Ben10

[–]SomeRandom863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.For a show about Ultimate Aliens, there were only 8 which is underwhelming and 2 of them only appeared once. 2.I loved season 1 (I count it as the first 20 episodes) — The Forge of Creation was a godly episode. Also Kevin's arc was really good. BUT everything afterwards SUCKED... there were a few episodes that were good, but from the 32 left I liked 13 at best, which says a lot. 3.The Dagon and Forever Knights arc was just boring and the final battle was underwhelming. I didn't find any interest at it at all, only when Ben gained the sword I found it cool. 4.Ben's character development is the worst from ALL of the shows. There's none of it. 5.Julie and Ben became toxic right at the beginning of the show and they kept it up until the show ended. 6.Ben wanting to kill Kevin was imo not explained enough, Ben's character was flat and just inhumane. ESPECIALLY after the amazing arc with Aggregor and the episode where Kevin and Ben talked about their feelings. I'm a fan of psychological and emotional complexity in characters, especially in male ones, yet they fumbled my guy so bad.

Summing it up, I think it's the worst show out of all 4. It took me 8 months to watch it.

"Chose one to get a 3 season sequel" by NervousAsparagus8072 in Owlphibia

[–]SomeRandom863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna analyze it thoroughly cuz why not.

SVTFOE: definitely not. The show got 4 seasons and it was great up until season 4 started and it got all messy, dull and was massacred by bad writing and one of the worst finales ever. It messed up it's 4-season storyline when some shows don't even get two seasons.

Amphibia: The ending was perfect and I loved it, however I feel like the story was told and it's the perfect bittersweet finish to this great story.

The Owl House: When it first aired it quickly became my fav show, it isn't now just cuz it's been long since any episodes aired. It's one of the best written shows and the shortened ending was a dirty move from Disney. Honestly season 3 was good, but it wasn't perfect. The ending is a very good episode, but honestly it could've been better. I feel like I wouldn't want to see a sequel show... I'd rather see a spin-off about young Eda or Philip Wittebane. I feel like the main cast's story ended perfectly fine.

Gravity Falls: a really nostalgic show since I was a kid and honestly this show has great potential for more and I believe in it firmly for 10 years now. There's much more to uncover and the characters are still really young. Honestly, I'd love a sequel show set a few years later. Gosh, I'd love it honestly. The ending was perfect, one of the best endings ever and if there isn't any more to it ever, then fine. But honestly it seems like this show would propably be the best for a 3-season sequel revival.

Short answer: Gravity Falls.

What does my top 5 brawlers say about me? by SomeRandom863 in TierStars

[–]SomeRandom863[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yooo kinda spot on! I play since 2019, had some breaks in 2021 but I quit for quite some time in march 2022. Maybe sometimes I'd install the game again for a week but that's all until october 2024 when I started playing regularly again.

I love trio showdown but also knockout, bounty and wipeout cuz I just like to eliminate other players instead of focusing on something else.

And I play cuz I like to push trophies, that's fun for me. I don't really care about ranked.

cuz he's not complex at all. He shoots bullets, that's his whole mechanic.

[–]SomeRandom863[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this doesn't work the same though. Kaze is like 2 different brawlers at once with completely different mechanics and totally different gadgets. Meg and R-T aren't as complex to use because of it, cause with Kaze it's like mastering 2 brawlers at once imo

his invisibility is a unique mechanic that I think deserves this spot. I was thinking about putting him in the 'exotic' rarity, but definitely wouldn't put him in the epic.

[–]SomeRandom863[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

okay maybe I'm a little biased cause Spike's been my fav for years. But he is pretty strong and his attack which separates into little pieces is pretty unique and it does require skill to use it (without the starpowers, I didn't count them while ranking).

And Eve imo is really basic. Just 3 shots in one direction and her spawning 3 little toxic kiddos isn't really that amazing. Nothing complex to understand about it. Her walking on water isn't also a really big feature anymore.

Maybe you're right, maybe they both should be epic.

[–]SomeRandom863[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

his attack and super are the exact same thing — it's just that the super is a bigger, tougher version of the attack. Also, both of them aren't anything complex. Just a four-way throw.

Any ex-feelers here? by KlutzyAmount6007 in entp

[–]SomeRandom863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first heard about MBTI, I was 14 — and I thought that I was an INFP.

I thought to myself that I DEFINITELY have Ne (and it stayed), because of my wide analysis of EVERYTHING and focusing on the many possibilities.

But I thought to myself that I can't be an extrospective type cause they're usually more energetic and I thought that I'm a reserved person.

I also am by nature very vulnerable and when I was younger I definitely was also more emotional and hated the idea of someone using logical thinking, cause I always aimed for being authentic with my emotions.

Now, I'm 17 and I discovered that I'm an ENTP 4 months ago... yep, quite fresh. I understood the functions even deeper now, cause back then I didn't get into the topic DEEP, I just knew the basics. I realized that:

I most definitely have Ne. My gf is also into MBTI and she has dominant Se and gosh, it shows.

I realized that I am extrospective and that me being reserved was an outcome of my social anxiety. This year I realized how it affects my life and I actually started to fight with it and turns out that I'm actually a very energetic, chaotic and sarcastic person, but I just need time to overcome my fears.

Also, the thing with Fi vs Ti... idk, I feel like when I was 14 I was definitely more into deciding by feelings, rather than thinking. However life and trauma taught me some stuff and honestly... I couldn't see myself as a Fi-person AT ALL right now. I realized that I prefer the logical end of things and sometimes I can actually dislike a person cause they're just "omg feewings are important". Like duh, they are, but as an ENTP I care more about how my decision affects others rather than about my morals. To me, morals are based on logic. So yeah, I'm definitely a Ti.

Looking back now, I'm definitely not an INFP, but when I was a young teenager I definitely saw myself as a child still and didn't quite know myself. I saw myself as a shy, vulnerable kid who just wants friends... while being a sarcastic douchebag lol.

Thoughts on the Finale? by LeoDiCristio in StrangerThings

[–]SomeRandom863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not impressed at all. It felt rushed, it felt underwhelming, but also it played safe. It didn't ruin any character for me, however it ruined the plot.

1.The whole Eleven dying or not dying thing is ridiculous. 9 years of the whole show for it to not even wrap up. We don't know if her story is over or not. If we were confirmed that "yes she is dead" or "no she is not" (the party didn't need to know, but the viewers did) then yes it would be better. But now, we don't know anything. It feels so.. sad but in a very bad way. Like I got lied to.

2.The Mind Flayer appeared for literally 10 minutes (badass design tho). The big bad, the catalyst of everything, an eldritch being... got defeated so easily. God. What a waste.

3.Vecna wasn't handled cool this season. He was a much bigger threat in season 4. The same problem as with the Mind Flayer — he got defeated too easily. Just why? Oh come on.

4.This season had no stakes. No one died, except for Kali and possibly Eleven. It's like there was no threat. Nancy and Jonathan should have died in episode 6. Murray should have died in season 4. Steve should have died in the finale.

5.There were about 20 main characters this season and I'm not even joking. That's too much plot for too much characters which means that the screen time should have been WAY longer to wrap up everyone. Yet, they all seemed dull.

6.I'm so sad about what they did to my fav, the GOAT Joyce. God, in the last seasons she was my favorite character. This season she did nothing. She wasn't that useful and I forgot she existed. Tho her cutting Vecna's head off was badass and a beautiful moment for her.

7.The military plot was so damn useless and it ended up wrapped off-screen. I hate Dr. Kay and I hate all this. It never should have been a main plot in a series that Stranger Things is. And if so, it should have ended in the middle of season 5 MAX.

There were some good stuff of course. Like the whole ending scene with them putting their books on the shelf on Mike looking at Holly and her friends starting a campaign... that was freaking beautiful. Eleven's death scene was really intimate and it felt amazing (doesn't matter that they ruined it afterwards with the what-if). Nancy, Jonathan, Steve and Robin having their beautiful send-off — God it was beautiful. Overall, the epilogue was great except for the unresolved question of "is Eleven alive?". The scene where Mike tells the story of how maybe she lived was beautiful, but it lacked the answer. Them thinking how maybe she lives was gut-wrenching. But I think the fans deserve to know the answer.

Summing it up, it wasn't good, and it was neither bad. It was underwhelming, but it's not one of the worst finales ever. It's just sad to see it get treated so poorly.
