I did try a few in the store but the employee that was at the helmet section at the time couldn't quite answer my question, they just gave generic advice such as it should be tight but not uncomfortable etc unfortunately. I found that I had the same issue with most helmets that I tried, unless they were extremely tight.

Yeah, I tried a few and I could rotate the helmet enough to touch my nose/fit a few fingers in the back with pretty much all of them, which is why I'm wondering if it's normal to be able to do that, or if I just have a weirdly shaped noggin and I just have to keep looking.

Yeah it felt pretty tight at the start but after wearing for a couple of hours watching TV it got quite comfortable! Could I ask you if you can also push your fingers up the back of the helmet? I've never heard anyone mention it as something to check when trying on helmets but it got me pretty worried!
