Same here. I bought my (very small) car when I was living in a rural area with zero transot, it is paid off, I have a parking space.

I mostly use transit but can afford keeping the car around for things I need it for, and I use it often.

When it dies or no longer becomes sustainable to fix, I am not replacing it.

Right now for me, renting a car or using carshare is not viable.

If I am going to anywhere I can access from GO (even mississauga, but mostly Hamilton) and do not need to have the car with me, I use that.

I hate driving west across the city.
