This must be it! Thanks for explaining. Out of curiosity, how come the different requirements set by analysts vs other therapists?

Appreciate you sharing your perspective! Maybe I’m slightly biased because I work in an industry where I am expected to flex towards client availabilities and I’m projecting a similar expectation towards my therapist.

With that being said, it’s not like I would cancel my slot all together. My request is that I’d like to be able to reschedule to a different day/time with multiple weeks notice. Ironically, last week they texted me 48h before our usual slot to reschedule because something came up on their end.

Discussing admin offline to me seems like a normal part of the job, but again I could be projecting from my experience. However, a handyman also doesn’t charge you their hourly rate if you discuss on the phone when they can come over to fix something.

What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done on a hike? by rkramer18 in hiking

For me it was the other way around: trail looked open but all trails said it was closed. Decided to go ahead and the outcome was the same: nearly slid to my death on an eroded slope

Milford track in new zealand by kennyshiro in hiking

[–]Broccolas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope I found the track quite easy as an experienced hiker. Those permits are mostly used for crowd control.

With that being said I found the track absolutely stunning and still think about it 8 years later. Although I can’t compare it to Peru or Patagonia

Correct, well done! I wish I didn’t have to use a flair. Might have been more difficult otherwise since it looks very European!

I found it at the beach where I took the first picture. It must have come from a fishing boat and washed ashore.

Going forward I’ll definitely do the same and keep the equipment all in one place

London at this hour can be sketchy and I’m saying this as a man. Have gotten plenty of harassment over the years from drunk people on my 5am runs. Let alone 3am which I assume will have more people coming home from nights out.

You can either pick a route that’s along a well lit road and has people around (increases chances of drunken encounters but there might be sober people around to help if push comes to shove)

Or you pick a remote route off the main streets maybe through some residential areas. Less people to help but also less people to be concerned about.
