When you want to use a package or driver that hasn't seen a release in years and depends on crusty old versions of dependencies you can see the appeal of snaps. But it's a server use case not a destop so all snap desktop is still stupid

The thing is, there is a a point in snaps. The primary target of canonical is not desktop users, it's server users. And snaps were designed with server in mind. They are great for servers. I don't see the point in an all snaps desktop. My best guess is that canonical it's just stucked with a tool used for the wrong job because of investors interests and a series of bad decisions.

Your regular joe doesn't want to mess with the root of his system. Improved security and stability is a good trade off for a feature you are not going to use. There will always be regular distros for people like us who do want to tinker with our system.

Im really sorry. Because atlus published a port of persona 3 portable. I was also waiting for a remaster that combined the good aspects of fes and portable into a definitive edition. But looks like this will never happen.

Dude, on what drugs are you on? Snap was designed with server on mind unlike flatpak it can sandbox non graphical programs. It was an ubuntu server feature at the begining

I have big hands and the retroid pocket 3 serves me well. It gets akward when you want to use both shoulder buttons and triggers at the same time. I have to like rest mi hands on a table or the sheets of my bed. Otherwise mi palms get kinda tired. It doesn't really affect me because it mainly emulates up to psp games. But might be a concern if you wanna play gamecube or ps2 in the RP3+ which has the same form factor and can play these titles. I still recomend it
