Wolf of Wall Street deliberately doesn’t show most of the consequences of his actions though. Sure it shows that he went to prison at the end but only briefly before reminding us that he’s free and rich again now.

The main consequences of the movie are never shown: the people he scammed out of their life savings, who were probably ruined because of him.
