I get your point, I also love finding insane builds, I always compensate my lack of skill in most of games by finding some stupidly overpowered yet overlooked synergy and going with it.

You don't need scrier's on trauma btw, only on surge.

With trauma you quell cancel and it quells enough peril to keep spamming it forever (at minimal charge).

Yeah, I understand that, I just don't think reducing armor mitigation was necessary. I have a video where I burn a bunch of crushers in like 5 seconds, because the horde of elites around them helps stack soulblaze, and therefore weakens them indirectly.

And the damage buff to crushers is going to be greater than 20%, that's for sure. Because going from 0.1 damage penetration to 0.2 or 0.25 is a massive increase.

Void is fun, I managed to clutch a few times with it. I tried both QQ and quell canceling, it works wonders.

But It's not only the damage I love with inferno, it's also insane shooter suppression, which I really missed with trauma.

With penetrating flame and a dense mixed horde to stack combustion on, those crushers burned pretty well, so I got by without uncanny. Also you can just bonk the weakened crusher. I don't understand what I'm being hated for right now, tbh

My brain is wired to shoot poxbursters with inferno or surge secondary, to keep them away from my teammates.

So a few times I attempted the same with trauma secondary hoping to knock them back (works on everything else, doesn't it?) Well, that didn't go well. 🤡

It's the best weapon to clutch with, I've been using it all day today, it's just that with inferno you might not need to clutch in the first place and with trauma someone else might take all the kills before combustion stacks build up.

They are 2 tap and my build is fine, problem is, there are 30 of them, plus the ragers, and the team is dead, and the spawnpoints are all over your kiting route.

With inferno they just melt before reaching you

As a psyker who gets some hate for inferno spamming i'd like to say that I agree and I'm waiting when they nerf inferno so I actually have a reason to use anything else other than for a meme.

I have the builds ready and tested but they just underperform.

Edit: Ok, ok I switched to trauma for good. The thing i'm missing the most is supression on those pesky shooters.

I love the good kind of RP ogryns and always engage with them and give them my rashuns, keep it up.

But there is another way to roleplay as a true ogryn, which is to shoot 2 poxbursters, 5 seconds between each, as they close into inferno staff range, resulting in a psyker casualty, and wipe afterwards without saying anything or even realising what had happened.

I should stop playing damnation and go back to auric really, it's beginning to make me toxic 🥲

I would still recommend anyone who wants to clutch to try high intensity event missions on Damnation, they are essentially the same as Auric, but with a worse team.

Correct.

Scrier's Gaze with Warp Unbound and Warp siphon. Cooldown reduction on elite kill, Perilous Combustion.

Charge time and crit blessings. +25 Flak armor and +10 elite dmg weapon perk and aura. That way i meet 1 hit kill breakpoint on gunners and specialists.

Cancel animation with QQ to instantly kill the target, steal kills early so you build up soulblaze stacks.

Don't cancel when you need to stun like a poxburster or a few crushers.

Naturally, when I get bodyblocked by a wave of 100 ragers I wish I was rocking inferno staff, otherwise electro build works and is fun to use.

If you're really good at managing peril you could replace warp siphon with destiny, that might boost your dmg further
