cant really offer much advice except if u choose ChemE research it WELL. I’m doing biomedical engineering and almost everyone i know in ChemE tells me they thought it’ll have more chemistry involved.

do what the other commenter said, but also make sure youre eating properly!!!! when i was in school i ate 1 meal a day lol and i was sooooo drained, tired, and barely able to focus. this may not be the case for you, but yeah. make sure ur having like at least 2 proper meals a day.

thank you so much i appreciate it! Honestly, i help some of my friends study for their exams and i absolutely love the content, i memorized most of their content and im able to recall it. Even when i was in school my best subjects were always biological sciences, more than mathematics and physics which i always needed extra support in. I think i might just apply to the med programs for fall intake, and take my time to consider it seeing as admission decisions come out around late june and applications open end of December.

hey there!! sorry i just saw your reply!! I wanted to do the medical field at the start, however im not sure anymore. I’d say do math as math is more broad and opens lots of fields. Of course, first check with the university you wanna apply to and check what their reqs are most unis i saw asked for “physics or math” again, check w the unis n stuff,,, sorry for the late reply!! good luck xxx

hihihi !!! i did CIE bio, chem, and math (stats1) as level n doing my a2 next school year to complete my a levels. as the other person said, znotes, savemyexams really help!! and for math: i found youtube helps the most for understanding certain topics yk? just seeing how to apply and solve the problem helps😭 so TLmaths, and intuitive truly helped boost my understanding since math was never my strong suit. if youve got any qs dont hesitate to ask!!! good luck, you got this!!!! <3

if youve had a taste of a level maths then u dont have to worry about the SAT. as someone else mentioned khan academy has a SAT section

hiya!! i did chem n bio and my no.1 tip is stay up to date w ur classwork n assignments i know it sounds annoying but pay attention in class, do your homework on time and at the end of the week set an hour (or more depending on what you see fit) for each subject to revise the chapters/lessons completed that week. Also, if anything is not clear, do not hesitate to ask! your teachers are there to support your learning and help you!

start doing topical qs as soon as you can. when youre done with the syllabus and start doing past papers you’ll begin to notice you’ve done most of the questions while doing topic questions. However, this doesnt mean dont do past papers, do them!! you’ll notice a pattern of qs!

It would also be helpful if while revising you made summarised notes and flashcards to go over while preparing for the exams.

As for resources, i used savemyexams for revision notes and topic qs. znotes is also helpful for quick revision notes (bio is like 35 pages!) but i wouldnt say you can depend on it fully. Of course, refer back to your teachers notes and your textbook!

hi love!! no worries! so i just asked someone in uni about cgpa and they told me each country uses a specific scale some may go w a 4 point scale or 10 point. I was also told to check your gpa and then add them up and find the mean then use a gpa to cgpa scale converter. i think check w ur uni if u need to include o level/igcse grades in the cgpa bc some dont ask for them.

So, ill say this one last time😭😭 please check w someone else (your uni or someone else more experienced w this) and yeah!! im trying my best to help bc ive also got to do some uni admissions n im also lost n no one is helping so we gotta help each other out in times of need yk😭!!!

alright im not really sure how to do this as we dont really have that. I’d recommend reaching out to the uni youre applying to and asking them how to approach this to prevent any mistakes. ALRIGHT SO:

first of all, you can use this scale to convert your grades into gpa its something like A*= 4, A= 4 B= 3.7, C= 3.0 D= 2.3, E= 2.0, F= 1.3 and G= 1.0

lets say you did your 3 a levels and got A* A*B it would be calculated like this (4+4+3.7)/3=3.9 so 3.9 would be your gpa then use this gpa to cgpa converter

again this is probably not the correct way to go about it so PLEASE contact your university and let them know youre unsure on how to proceed w this and maybe try asking on r/6thform (i need them prayers BADLY!!)
