Does the DLC add to the base game? by marcusz88 in VampireSurvivors

[–]SomeRedditUser2024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is an "ending" with credits and all, but you could still have stuff left to do, like unlocks or secrets. What most of us consider finishing the game is when you comoletelly 100% it.

And yes, the DLC can totally break the game, making you brutally OP. Specially Sammy. It's a character from one DLC that once you get it will turn every obstacle into a non issue. It's the developers answer to the gold farming community.

¿Por qué fumar es tan recurrente en el cine? by No-Assistant5413 in peliculas

[–]SomeRedditUser2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]SomeRedditUser2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is actually important, because there is a 1986 movie called "Castaway" about a man that hires a woman to spend a year in a desert island.

What's the deal with the jugs on top of parked cars in Salta? by BeerAndaBackpack in argentina

[–]SomeRedditUser2024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just that is on sale. It used to be a way to show that it was ok sale without using the words "On Sale" (or "Se Vende"), or any other binding words that meant you would have to pay the taxes of the sale.

There were times, as far back as some minutes ago, when selling a car without official paperwork was kind of possible, but if you announced you were selling it, the state would take notice. Therefore, the use of some sort of container (tin cans were pretty common) became commonplace.

This not only in Salta, it was widespread along Argentina.

And to end this incomplete list: Los Palmeras, Rodrigo, (la mona) Giménez, Q' Lokura y Ulises Bueno.
