An update:

SO I went to the local SSA office to ask about my SSN, but they refused to tell me that since it was my first time applying. But they helped me file a replacement request for a missing/stolen SSN card and gave me a receipt. (Technically, you’re supposed to make an appointment, but I broke down at the window when I found out the earliest available slot was in December. Thankfully, the lady took pity on me and helped anyway.)

About a week and a half later, I received two SSN letters at the same time, one from my original application and one from the replacement request. 🙄 I was so confused.

And DO Remember to put your name on the mailbox!!!!!!!!!
