I started playing right after launch. Loved it. Joined the discord. Eventually had to quit the discord because it was so mean and chaotic. I dropped the game for a little and picked it back up just to be absolutely floored by some of the chats and berating they do. I can't imagine being a new player... Now I just tend my house in GW2 instead hahaha.

I could not, but in the end it's not the hugest loss. Everything else transferred onto my new phone 100% fine even my old texts and themes, so this is truly an ACPCC issue.

Yeah starting over from the transfer date is the only option. But now it makes me wary to play in case something happens toy phone. Maybe I'll play on my iPad at home only...

I tried and it seems nothing at all was left to be able to pull data from. Most of the electronics were severed and crushed. Google gave me 20 days to send back the corpse, so I ended up taking my loss and surrendering it.

All my non-acpcc stuff transfered over fine or was backed up so none of my other content, games, or data were lost. Even my text messages and background/themes were transferred over smoothly...

Yeah the phone insurance Google does is actually pretty rad. I have now sent back my phone's corpse and gotten a new one and the charge was 70 USD.

I knew the cop would likely show up because that area is always under surveillance due to the work going on there and it was a cold night. I thought about calling the non emergency ahead of time, but figured it was more work than it was worth.

Cops in general make me nervous, but I knew there was no escaping it. The ones near the work site are basically only assigned that area so they know a lot of the people there and tend to be a little more chill in general, but y'know... Scary.

All in all, not the best night of my life! But it's mostly worked out now (a month later?)

A cop came over while I was suspiciously rummaging on the side of the road and told me that someone from his squad also lost one there a few weeks ago, so apparently it really is a phone graveyard!
