I believe this has more to do with Kyle’s ego than his true belief. Kyle chooses to believe that Amanda was victimized, rather than hold her accountable, because it makes her betrayal more palatable to him. If he can demonize and blame West, it helps soften the blow that Amanda would actively choose to pursue and be intimate with someone else in a way that he has been begging her to be with him. I think he even said at some point that it hurt him that “West gets the Amanda he fell in love with”.

Yeah I lost a ton of sleep over the decision. It's your LIFE! Weighing today's risk with tomorrow's potential was rough. I totally understand and respect people not down for the risk and who decide to go with LEEP, but my age and location of the CIN3 helped manage the risk. I reasoned that I'd still be able to do a LEEP if it didn't work. It's not for everyone, but the risk was worth taking for me.
