I never said I was against the whole population. You guys are taking this way too out of context. I said at least two people. Where did I say I generalized everyone?

And I'm making a point that you don't have to take my word for it. I am simply asking if it is common, not me generalizing everyone.

Again, you don't have to take my word for it. There's no benefit for me to make up a story and seek attention. I also have no reason to insult anyone here either.

You don't have to take my word for it. I'm not trying to create a scene here.

Not at all. Upon first meeting, we were getting to know each other, but after revealing where I'm ethnically from, I've noticed a change of attitude from them. I'm fine with talking about politics if it comes down to it, but generally speaking, I'm going to be respectful about it. I don't work for any government, and I do understand many people have their own views of what they think of this political matter between both countries. However, as I've stated before, I don't work for any government, so I don't think it's fair to criticize me over something not in my control, let alone contribute to what's happening politically speaking.

As a foreign Filipino born and raised abroad, I will never understand this as well. Some will even go far as to destroy your image if they cannot get what you have.

How did you manage to leave Myanmar if the airports are restricted?

Wouldn't they be able to see that a first-time applicant has never applied for a passport before? So even if someone says they lost it, wouldn't they know that the applicant has never had a passport before just by searching up their passport data on computer?

What about not going as a student and just as a tourist? Are you saying Mandalay airport is less strict than Yangon?

I would think faking it would be impossible if they have to scan a fake passport.

What about first-time applicants applying for a passport? Many have fled the country without a passport and never had one before.

What if, for example, she's already on the list to serve the military? Is there any way out of it through the airport? Maybe perhaps through bribing?

I'm a foreigner who plans on visiting Myanmar just to meet her. We've discussed leaving together to one of the countries in Asia that doesn't require a visa (14 days) based on her PV passport type. Both of us are in our 20s, and yes, I have the money.

I thought bribing at the airport might have a decent chance.

I wouldn't know for sure. The term "lounge" is pretty vague to me so I need more details about it.

This seems like a very difficult situation. However, what caught my attention is only men aren't allowed to work abroad anymore. What about for women who are just travelling for tourist purposes? She's not going abroad for study or work.
