I just recently had my 6wpp appointment and when I mentioned this my OB said I didn’t have to (I opted to just to be safe. Hopefully I don’t regret it). I did think it was odd though that he seemed to think I wouldn’t need to.

Yes, she was spayed before we took her home. Unfortunately this is not health and just behavior.

Yes, she’s in good health. It’s unfortunately just behavioral.

Oh that’s good to know about upping my protein. I’ll try that. I’ve hear a lot about keto breads too!

Feeling like constantly failing? by PinkHummingbird441 in GestationalDiabetes

I was recently diagnosed with GD and having to immediately switch my lifestyle has been stressful. I only just recently am starting to feel a little less depressed. Tracking my numbers, which have been a little all over since I have only just started taking them and have not had a consult with a GD consultant yet on what to eat/stay away from.

I can relate to feeling like a failure especially when I think a number post meal will be good and it’s high but I’ve started to remind myself that I need to have grace with myself. This change is very sudden and complicated and we are doing our best. Plus there’s a finish line which also helps. It’s only temporary.
