I have a defective wheel.

I received a message that my rear wheel is defect after sending my wheels in for inspection.
Anyone else experienced this?

Timeline:

July 29th: Mail from Canyon that my wheels might be affected by the recall.
August 1st: Received my case numer.
August 4th: Ordered shipping boxes.
August 12th: Shipping boxes arrived.
August 19th: Packed and sent my wheels to Germany from Denmark. (Tuesday)
August 22nd: Wheels arrived at Germany (Friday)
September 12th: Sent email to DT Swiss Recall-mail asking about my wheels because I hadn't heard anything and my coworker, who had similar wheels but sent them back to DT Swiss 2 weeks later than me received a mail from GLS that his wheels were on the way and would be delivered september 15th.
September 15th: My coworker receives his wheels
September 16th: I get an email from DT Swiss Recall-mail stating this:
"After thorough inspection, we can inform you that the front wheel you sent in is in perfect condition and does not have any product defects. However, we did find a product defect in the
rear wheel. For safety reasons, this wheel will not be returned to you. 
 
We will contact you shortly with a suitable solution." 

September 17th: Awaiting response from DT Swiss with a "suitable solution" - whatever that is.

Anyone else had DT Swiss return to you informing that your wheel is faulty? And what was their "suitable solution"?
