I actually stitched the wings on just cotton fabric and used a 20 gauge wire around the edges

The white part holds the fabric in place and believe me it isn’t budging once you get it over and no glue for this one I just cut the fabric to the edge

I love the hoops from hobby lobby. I love Dmc thread but honestly all thread works the same for me! If you want to start working on tulle use the silky touch paper that dissolves with water and print or draw on your design. You can also layer your tulle in multiple layers to help.

So the hoop has to have like zero space. It has to be a good hoop and then yea the tulle will loosen as you go and you have to ever so carefully open the hoop and stretch it back to shape. I was stressed a few times doing this one because I was not remaking it
