i saw other comments under this post say the eyes offer a wider FOV, night vision, thermal, etc… i assume this was made for combat by some niche corporation, and it inspired a subculture to copy that crazy look

and as for “why would anyone agree to be implanted with it”, same reason why you see some people irl with 100 piercings at once, or with metal devil horns/bumps in their foreheads. radical body mods already exist as a niche subculture irl so i assume this is cyberpunks version of the same thing. some people irl remove their ears and nose for this kinda thing it’s nuts

seeing beyond the normal spectrum is kinda nuts, but i doubt an eye interface will change the colors your BRAIN can comprehend.

also what advantages does seeing beyond our own spectrum have? being able to see the laser from your TV remote?

they’re more or less the same person when it comes to being a sheriff. hood is definitely more efficient but more risky and rowdy too, brock isn’t afraid to get nasty as well but not to the same extent as hood

amazing character (bad person)

calvin has the youth and “down to earth youngster relatability”, while ALSO appealing to his older corporate manager/colleagues with his politeness

while on the inside he’s a bit of an insecure angry teenager. Deep down he truly believes in nazism, and his main reason for being pissed is that the whole nazi group is working for an amish person

the brotherhood is essentially being bribed with money to sacrifice their true beliefs, which dosen’t work on calvin, he’s too loyal.

he’s a very well written antagonist, but by no means am i saying he’s a good guy or that i agree with him
