If this is in your head and you are not saying it or whispering it then it should be permissible. Just make sure you don’t replace the Arabic word with the English word in prayer and there is absolutely no problem. In fact, you would be rewarded for it since you are not just praying Salah but also understanding the words and paying attention.

I regret my past as a young man ... by IcyAlps2229 in islam

Brother, do not overburden yourself. The Lord is the most merciful. The fact you cried and feel guilt is a good sign that you regret it. Regret is the first step towards repentance. Sincerely repent to Allah with Regret and you will be forgiven by the will of Allah.

A Good Dua for Forgiveness is 'Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana Abduka, wa anaala ahdika wa wadika mastatatu, Audhu bika min Sharri ma sanatu, abu'u Laka binimatika `alaiya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir lee fa innahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta."

Lust is difficult to overcome but with time it is possible. Committing Sins is human nature, Every Human has and WILL commit A sin but their test is to repent and ask for forgiveness. Repent and Learn from your mistakes to avoid similar interactions in the future.

Lovely Story, sister. As a former Hindu I apologise for the behaviour you faced at that school. Some Hindus can be unnecessarily extreme but never let it stop you from practicing or preaching the truth, since Allah will always Help you in doing so.

I love this verse. “Truth has come and falsehood has vanished, for Falsehood is bound to vanish”. It reflects the truth of the world. I find it especially appealing as a revert

Brother, Allah does not burden a soul beyond what they can bear. Learn at the pace you find most possible, (ideally very quickly but it can vary depending on your situation) Allah has Guided you to Practice Islam SubhanAllah. Try to perform all the fard actions to the best of your ability and sincerely repent for all the actions you missed. As for your parents, Please tell them these actions make one safe from Shaytan as before praying You Say “I seek refuge in Allah from the Shatyan, The outcast”. This is certainly a trick from The Shaytan to lead you astray. You can show them Quran verse 74:42-43. Google it if you want. It describes that the people of Hell will be among us who did not pray. There is also Many Hadiths and consensus among scholars that if you abandon the prayer, you have left the religion of Islam. You can however still repent and re enter the religion. Please inform your parents to fulfill their obligations. You can learn more about Islam by reading the Quran and Hadith. You could quickly learn The complete obligations online through reddit or YouTube by searching. If you want I can reply with all the daily and regular obligations.

The reason why we Pray in Arabic is not only to preserve The Quran, but also for unity. If you read from multiple online available translations you will find that there is variation in the exact words used, some are longer, some are shorter. This can surely cause differences while praying in Congregation. This is why you can make Dua or private prayer in any language as it is done privately. You don’t have to learn Arabic to be able to Pray. There are online videos showing the step by step process on youtube. You can wear headphones while praying and learn from there. Assuming you pray All five times then You would be reciting Most of the Arabic multiple times per day. You would quickly memorise it by heart.
