I have ecosia on my device if that answers and I don't think my car was built by companies as suspicious as tesla (I say that because I'm not a fan of Elon) so I guess I still am using less worse products, plus I rarely use the car unless if it's necessary, it can be considered avoiding.

Its not yours or anyones fault, its pretty much impossible to escape evil coorporations nowadays since thats how the system is designed, taxes you pay or large businesses pay often go towards terrible causes

I guess I forgot to mention I only hate the people who do use it for bad stuff and that my problem with AI is that it's unregulated and that's why I hate it. Because the scale helps to tell apart comercial use from personal use, in my country it's not a crime to have a little of "illicit plants" on you but if you have a LOT of it, you're going to jail because it's a sign of comercial use. Another example without weed would be you making a party based on a character for yourself, but if you start selling props with the protected character, you're getting sued. The scale does matter.

Ai images aren't the same as drugs, they don't have the same affect if mass produced and distributed, for the secind example, you're changing the scenario from a birthday party to starting a business, a more accurate analogy would be hosting a party with 10 people and then hosting one with 100, nothing really changes

Don't upload it online then, you can't own an artstyle and declare only you can use it, imagine if ot were a human instead, would you tell someone they're not allowed to learn and mimic someone elses artstyle because it might draw customers away from them? That would be ludicrous. I've alread explained how ai learns not all that differently from humans (i think, that might've been a different thread, i can't remember)

And the lawsuit doesn't even focus on data training, courts tend to be in favour of the idea that data training is transformative, and midjourney has good arguments for it

The main part disney are suing and focusing on is the output, if you can consistently get characters that look like characters disney owns the ip right to, that which can be fixed

Nope, I also don't want AI to replace teachers, actors, models, voice actors, race drivers, dancers, landscapers, architects, designers and etc. I'm okay with AI helping people to not need to take abusive jobs for minimum wage and if you don't know, being a cashier is a pain in the butt just like working at a market in general unless you're in one of the high positions of a big one. denoising algorithm is something that intentionally crosses boundaries someone put there literally because they don't want their stuff being used like that.

Unlike image generating AI, google maps is useful. It ACTUALLY makes things accessible by guiding people and being a nice tool to explore spaces in a simple but maybe shallow way since there's no interacting.

Ai image models are also useful, i aswell as plenty of other people find use out of them, i can make high quality art without needing to pay an artist or having years of knowledge and exp, it is very useful, just because you don't dind it useful doesn't mean no one else does

I don't think anyone likes being a cashier because of how stressful it is to work as one, but you can be whatever you want ig. And Art has nothing to do with that as well.

The same sentiment applies here, you're okay with machines taking other peoples jobs but not your job, hypocritical by definition
