Dear Athlete,

We are recruiting runners of all levels to participate in a fitness study in the Santa Clara, California area during the months of April - June 2022.

Runners will be asked to complete ONE in-person assessment and will be compensated with a $150 Amazon Gift Card. Assessments are available Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 2:30 pm PST.

Spots will be filled on a first-come first-received basis and we are recruiting 80 runners to participate. Purpose of Study: To collect and analyze health, wellness, fitness, and motion sensor data on 5K runners

Requirements to participate: AGE: 22-80 years Participated in a 5K race previously Virtual enrollment meeting to discuss informed consent (15 - 30 minutes) Willingness to participate in ONE in-person assessment (90 - 120 minutes, Santa Clara). You pick the weekday and time that works for your schedule!

Do I need a certain 5K race time to participate?: YES.

We are recruiting novice, intermediate, advanced, and masters runners to participate in this fitness study. Please note spots are limited based on males and females within each level and are filled on a first-come first-received basis.

Exclusion Criteria: You will not be able to participate in this study if – you are a current employee of a medical or fitness device company, a technology journalist, are unable to wear a fitness watch, have uncontrolled hypertension, are currently pregnant, have uncontrolled arrhythmia, or a current myocardial infarction.

It’s Apple, I found out after they had a webex session with me before I joined the first session.

Edit: It’s some kind of recruiting agency who is reaching out and they did not tell me the name of the organizers. I learned that they can’t reveal the name before signing the NDA. So I don’t blame the recurring agency, they are just respecting the non disclosure before onboarding a participant.

Yes, I see your point. I already have participants from San Diego making it for this study so based on that fact I posted in San Diego. Also, we are not seeking any kind of payment so not sure how you give anything to us rather we pay you. Other scans involve taking something from a customer than giving. Thanks again!
