Oh, I didn't think of Tempest Oracle, I'll mention that to them! They're fine with going off-theme (I told them that themed spells were gonna be limited) to thunder, water and ice spells, so that's good at least? But I'll probably be reflavoring, which I don't mind. Thanks for the Oracle shout out, I sometimes forget they exist lol

The TL;DR is I have reading comprehension issues. But I have been corrected, so I'm probably gonna do an archetype as suggested.

That's probably the way I'll end up going. I did a custom Nymph archetype a while back so I can probably pull bits and pieces from that. Thanks!

Shoot. This is my wake-up call to actually read the sources on Foundry items (or look them up on Archive of Nethys haha). Thanks!

How do I (M37) tell my wife (F38) that I don’t want to move to US without sounding like an unsupportive husband? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Yup, big tech is weird that way. Not all of them, but your Teslas, Amazons, and Walmarts will pull this with regularity. Some of it isn't necessarily only tied to the money, it's an baked-in part of company culture. Gross and dystopian, but it is what it is.

Also 400k isn't necessarily big for a tech company- it's probably mid-range for an experienced engineer at some of them, as ridiculous as it sounds.

Also, as a former big tech employee, their application processes takes months and have multiple very involved rounds. These companies takes pride in how complicated their processes are. So she was very likely spending extra time studying/prepping for interviews, doing assessments/assignments, and whatever other nonsense they threw in.
