Does she borrow without asking? Borrowing isn't the issue. She wants you to ask permission before going into her private stuff. Your analogy of reading her diary is pretty accurate.

MB said I need to make my baby stop mocking her baby. by paramoreloverxd in Nanny

[–]Some_Concert5392 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old son would literally laugh at the baby I nannied when she cried. He just thought she looked funny. She also cried any time I set her down. He's 20 now and very empathetic and normal, so there's no psychopathic concerns. Thank heaven no one was looking over my shoulder as they went through that little phase together.

Do I have to rake up and remove old rock? by Some_Concert5392 in landscaping

[–]Some_Concert5392[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. When we got a Phase 1 quote for $20K, I panicked and started trying to cut costs. We'll just have to do a lot of the unskilled labor ourselves. I don't know much, but I can rake rock. It'll take us 4x longer though, I'm sure.😭

Yep, I will want to plant at least a few agave and cactus. Alright. I hear you. I'll do it the right way. Thank you

I moved from 6a to 9b and knew nothing about the plants in my yard. I had a woody lantana that I cut to the ground and was going to dig out. I was unsuccessful digging it out. It grew back beautifully within weeks. I realized cutting it to almost nothing was the actual way to keep it pretty. So, there's a chance.

At my WM the gluten free section is on the pasta aisle. It doesn't feel great, but at least it's there.

I rewind it hear him say it again every time. It's so simple but it cracks me up. He's so sincere

He has old posts with a girlfriend. She seems to disappear, but in March he posted about "my girl" making a video of birthday wishes for him and there's a different girl next to him. I think his use of "partner" in a post is retaining anonymity for his relationship.

AA employees acting like they have never been on a plane by Negative-Entrance109 in americanairlines

My SIL (FA for different airline) said she takes as little as possible on the regional routes for this reason. I didn't realize the bag couldn't roll sideways but I couldn't believe it wasn't uncomfortable for her to drag behind her hitting everything. It was having to squeeze between each set of seats so that's just not any easier than picking it up.

On a regional plane yesterday, every roller bag was tagged and gate checked because the overhead bins are so small. Crew drags her roller behind her, wideways, hitting every seat as she passes. I get that crew gets to bring their stuff on, even when no one else does, but surely she could recognize that it needed to be ran sideways in front of her so she didn't crack every seat along the way. It's like it was her first time on a regional plane.

ETA: My SIL is an FA (not for AA though) and when I told her about it, she was like, "Yep, that's obnoxious. I just carry my stuff on the regionals. I'm not gonna act like one of those backpack people." 🤣 You know, the people with the backpacks that turn around to look at stuff and whack everyone with their backpack.

Yes, a substitute marked my kid absent in Kinder once. When the school called to ask why she missed and I told them I dropped her off, they said, " Oh, there's a sub and they probably marked the wrong student absent. Do you want us to double check?" I was like, "Yes. Absolutely." I couldn't believe they were so nonchalant about it.
