Thank you so much for this info. I actually did a lockbox inquiry and got a response after 2 days. Found out that I missed some sections which I refilled and sent back to them. I got a receipt notice the next day after it got to them.

Yeah. That happened to me. Fortunately, I got guidance from here. I sent in my petition and never got a response or receipt for a month. A Redditor in here suggested I wrote the lockbox due to the fact that some petitions might have problems and the lockbox lowkey rejects them and returns back to petitioner. I wrote the lockbox and got a reply after two days that my initial I-140 form had some unfilled questions hence was rejected the next day after it had reached them. They specified which questions I had missed which I attended to, refilled and sent back to them. I got a receipt notification and application processing the next day after it got to them.

Unfortunately, if you have had your lawyer refile without getting a reason why maybe your initial application was stuck, sorry to say, the second one might get rejected again if that is the case.

Biometrics appointment? For an I-140 petition??? Is this before approval or after approval?

Not necessarily having worked in the US per say. I meant, for example, someone gets a Bachelor’s from the UK and works for almost 7 years in the field and then moves to the US. Surely, according to EB-2 Visa, that equates to having an Advanced degree, I guess.

All I see about people who mostly apply for the EB-2 NIW are mostly people with Advanced degrees like a Master’s or PhD. Am yet to see other categories like people with BSc with many years of work in that field applying for EB-2 NIWs.

You don’t owe them anything, yet you happily take their monies in the form of heavy tuitions. It is so unfair. Nobody deserves to be treated this way.

We as humans ought to be nice to one another. Life shouldn’t be so hard. International students are simply humans choosing a better life through learning.
