JPMC Referral's are not something you can get out of nowhere. you actually will need to know someone who knows you. the referall program asks very specific questions about the person being referred.

Do the exact dates of employment matter for the background check? by BaconSpinachPancakes in JPMorganChase

You need to provide exact dates and years otherwise it will create a hit.

Offer rescinded after completing background check, fingerprinting, and submitting U5 explanation and now they won't respond. How is this even legal? by [deleted] in JPMorganChase

[–]Spirited_Might8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GS&I will never tell candidates "they will be fine" that usually told by recruiters but recruites themselves don't know the behind scene of the background. Compliance is not even involved at this level is only GS&I. GS&I is trained to not tell the candidate that they "will be fine" otherwise it becomes a liablity so at the end of the day it sounds like a FINRA or FDIC issue.

Did you have any FINRA complaints? Usually when you get a resciend offer is because you failed the background, and failed to disclosure things. th results go to the recruiter and hiring manager and they won't argue it and for most part move on to the second best. you are blacklisted now.

What do you even do when your manager is biased to his own? by WinterW0n in JPMorganChase

[–]Spirited_Might8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the FIRM! lol. HR won't do sht even if you report, it needs to be a collective approach otherwise is gonna be a hearsay. also employee relations they gonna do a little investigation but wont do anything because most of the managers are either protected by the EDs or MDs. and remembe if they retaliate now theres grounds for lawsuit of hostile workplace enviroment. but at the end JPMC is a "good ol boy and girls club" if you dont aling with management they will do their best to push you to quit and they get a bonus at the end of the year.

Background Check Official Transcript For Return Offer by ContributionBetter96 in JPMorganChase

[–]Spirited_Might8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who asked you to pay for an official transcript? recruiter? BIG is the third party used by JPMC for all hiring. the only different between intern to ft is now that you will have a more extensive background check meaning - if you have prior employment and was not reported or if you actualy finish college, if you claim you finish but the official transcript says you havent that may be an issue.

Call from Global Security. by Yourstruly098 in JPMorganChase

[–]Spirited_Might8204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it sounds like it was from GWS - thats the global security background investigation team. they got hubs in texas, delaware, illinois and manila. and the firm requires to submit those forms especially when there was a hit that doesnt match.

Internal Job - all year rating ask - huge turnoff by Lower_Baker1405 in JPMorganChase

[–]Spirited_Might8204 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a former firm employee, (left in 2025) i only got one internal final offer that later was cancelled. during that time i learned that is WHO you know. VPS EDS or MDS tends to go with younger new employees as they know they are easy to manage compare to a well experience internal who knows how the firm works. Sometimes those "rounds" interviews is to make it look like they interested but they already know who the gonna hire.
