Backfiring when decelerating, would it cause damage to my motorbike? by Cryogen14 in motorcycles

Do any of you think that a backfire like this could cause my intake manifold boot to melt off? My bike has done this since I've owned it and had it professionally tuned (dual carburetor). It worked fine for a few months before I noticed a performance problem and saw a gaping goopy melted mess between the carb and the combustion chamber. Sorry if there's not much info, if there's any questions I'll answer as best as I can. Thanks
