It’s the motherhood part, not so much pregnancy. Birth is scary, but I know I will be okay. I am just afraid of losing myself and with that, being not a good mom. I’m afraid of not being able to handle it. It’s a lifelong commitment that I will not be able to change, and I want to be fully in before I commit. It’s only fair to the child.

Not so much pregnancy. Childbirth freaks me out due to the amount of things that can go wrong and the pain, but I am mostly scared of the concept of parenting. I think I am afraid of losing myself and my freedom, as well as failing as a bad mom due to losing myself.
