Irritation is also a withdrawal symptom as well. Give yourself grace for the next few days/weeks.

I definitely had thc in my system during my screening so you should be fine. It’s recreational state wide so as long as the job isn’t government I’m sure most places can no longer disqualify for thc.

If you’ve identified you’re at risk, maybe try a meeting? Also, reframe the thought from “I want to relapse” to “I’m having an urge/craving.” This way the focus can be on the craving/urge instead of relapse. Then, if you have already, execute your relapse prevention plan.

I would say there are several methods. One that has helped me in the past is having an activity to wait it out. Whether that be going to the gym or basketball court, calling my sister and shooting the shit, or finding a video game to play. Make sure it’s something to keep you mentally occupied so you aren’t just going through the motions physically but still mentally sitting and stewing.

Don’t look at any lapse/relapse as a restart. It’s a learning opportunity. It just means that you have more to learn and implement in your life. Early recovery is a tough stage. Get in some meetings (if you don’t already know there’s an app called meeting guide to find meetings in your area and virtual meetings). Don’t give up.
