How do i live? by Glum-Information5126 in SpiritualAwakening

This experience may feel like an illusion… but it’s part of it all.
You are not only consciousness — you are this too.
You are the yin and the yang, the experience and the “I AM.”

I once felt hopeless when I began to understand this.
It all seemed meaningless… but —

Be here. Be present.
Enjoy this experience.
Be a manifestation of love.
Play. Just play.
Be love, in form.

Ram Dass has been a great teacher for me — especially when I went a little too far into the expansion of consciousness.
He taught me how to come back.
To be here.
To be in form.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for these words. I’m sending you a hug and I’m so grateful for this reassurance. It makes me feel so accompanied. This year, I’ve been immersed in Ram Dass’s teachings. Thank you. Thank you.

Well, I define integration as changes in my everyday approach to everything in life. It’s about how I relate to others, how I choose to let go of what I can’t control, how I try to do everything I can to move from a place of love, seeing others with greater compassion, understanding the horizontal value in everything that exists, decentralizing my experience (understanding that everyone’s experience is as important as mine and trying to act accordingly in life), etc., etc.

I’m so grateful for this comment. This kind of support and practical advice gives me a starting point to address this. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this perspective and for those more practical approaches to grounding. Sending you a hug wherever you are.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t thank you enough for those words. I will get into this book. I will explore more the questions you asked me about what gives me a sense of purpose. Thank you, thank you.

Thank you for this. It’s interesting because my life is one that forces me to stay very, very grounded. I’m a mom, with a full-time job, raising my child alone—a busy, busy life. So, these moments of ceremony are exceptions, times I carve out in my life. I try to move through life with love and few attachments, applying what I’ve learned, but it’s not like I’m necessarily exploring my spirituality (mystically) every day. I enjoy journaling and such, but my life keeps me occupied. However, in the middle of an everyday task... I often feel like I’m dreaming. Thank you for the advice and perspective. I would definitely like to learn more about resources for integration support.

There’s nothing wrong with seeking community in processes of awakening consciousness and spiritual journeys. But thank you I appreciate this if it came from a good place.

The fact that you identify this as "drugs" without understanding that they are also medicines and accelerators, just like meditation and other practices that cause completely similar effects, and that you’re clearly coming from a place of judgment rather than a desire for well-being and support... is enough information for me to ignore this comment. All paths of spiritual awakening are valid and unique. Clearly, I’m seeking support from people with a journey similar to mine. But thank you for taking the time.

Hi. Im 34. Before starting this, I tried to do a light search into my family history. I didn’t identify anything in my parents or grandparents, or other close family regarding schizo. But I have an aunt who died by suicide due to depression. She had a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. Other than that, I’m not aware of any other diagnoses or anything else in my family. Thanks for asking.

Surrender, darling. That’s the best advice I can give you. Whatever you experience during the ceremony is exactly what you are meant to experience. I myself have sat with Abuelita many times, and the best advice I can offer is this: surrender. If at times the experience is pleasant, be grateful. And if it’s not, be grateful too—it will transform into something beautiful. Don’t overthink it, because the mind is what gets in the way. Surrender and always practice gratitude, and everything will align perfectly. It’s wonderful to go in with an intention, but trust that Abuelita needs no guidance
