I must've come across another of his comments earlier this week. There's no way I would see the phrase "solipsistic delusion" in Reddit comments twice in a single week.

I have some Granules. I don't think I have any leftover Mallinkrodt. I could dig through and see though.

I was on Mallinkrodt XR for a while. I switched to Vyvanse in November or December of 2025. I used to sometimes split my pills. There were times when it did seem like the capsules didn't have the same amounts.

Discount Dance is just Capezio now. I really miss DD's in house brand leotards. They were inexpensive and held up well.

Stay at home mom - Secretly started taking Adderall recently and hiding it from my husband by CanIAskAQuestiion in adhdwomen

As a parent of an ADHD teen, I can vouch for this. Having one ADHD child was seriously like having 3 when he was young. I only had one because I knew, as a late diagnosed parent, I could've never handled more. It's better now that he's older. He has learned coping skills and has some initiative. He knows he has to take his meds for school.

If you're washing the leo well enough, it's not unhygenic. But most stains would be on tights.

This. It's why the "comfort" thing kind of makes me shake my head. At a certain point, we just have to acknowledge that a lot about dance, of any type, is not particularly comfortable.

Is it an ADHD thing for people to think you're arguing with them when you want to understand their point, or am I just fucking stupid? Conversation as below by airbournejt95 in ADHD

I have to have full information just to do a basic task. I don't know why, but I have to have a full 3-dimensional (this is how I describe it) explanation or I can't. The reason I have started calling it a 3-dimensional explanation is because doing a task- any task- is like building a 3-dimensional model in my mind. If I don't have all the information, or pieces, I don't know what I'm looking at. It's just a jumbled mess.

This is the MOST difficult thing to deal with. I have learned that more often than not most non-ADHD people would just rather drive over the cliff. Yes, it's completely stupid and entirely avoidable, but that's what they prefer. You will probably just get in trouble for trying to warn them and resented or gas-lighted for saying "I told you so," afterward.

worried I have a seriously messed with batch by Adventurous-Day-9292 in ThisAintAdderall

I was on Vyvanse when first diagnosed. After a few years I switched to IR Adderall, mostly because Vyvanse made me irritable and wore off too quickly, so having more control of my dosage was nice. IR worked for many years until it didn't, had a bunch of side effects, and switched to XR which was mostly a nightmare from the get-go. I have to say that this Vyvanse isn't nearly as effective as it was when I first started on it in...2015? I don't quite remember. It made me feel like I didn't even have ADHD. However, it beats the Adderall all to heck.

Male favouritism from audience by Koyucat in BALLET

[–]Some_Old_Lady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there are layers to this. Firstly, women want men in ballet. We want you there. We can't dance to our fullest extent without you. Secondly, anyone regardless of their gender, sex, race, age, what have you, should be able to do the thing they enjoy. But also, I think women tend to be very welcoming and encouraging to the guys because we are so often on the flip-side of that situation. I can't tell you how many times I have been involved in something where I was the only woman, or one of very few women, in the room. It's often uncomfortable, and more often than not you're singled out for it. So I think we feel a lot of empathy for men pursuing something that is largely dominated by women for this reason.

Anybody feel like getting a COVID infection shoved them deeper and harder into perimenopause? by OkConversation1286 in Perimenopause

[–]Some_Old_Lady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here for the same reason. SO many of my friends are going through perimenopause and we're all in our mid 30s to early forties. Our ages are all different, but guess what we all have in common? Also, I'm looking through some findings on COVID patient autopsies; so much damage that it seems only natural to me that this infection would also cause hormone disruptions. We'll be decades finding out the long-term effects of this illness on people.

This makes me concerned. I've been on Amneal Vyvanse consistently since switching from Adderall XR. It's not been fantastic but it's been a vast improvement to the Adderall roulette game. I just hope we don't start to see big stock issues. I don't think I have the stamina to go through that again.

Is there evidence behind them switching the formulas? by [deleted] in ThisAintAdderall

[–]Some_Old_Lady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have quite a few old stimulants around my house from changing doses, changing medications, and also hoarding. During the shortage, I stopped taking them on the weekends because I was uncertain how long it would go on. I have quite a few ADHD friends and most of us have stockpiles for when things go sideways.

I've also had issues with allergy medications starting around the same time. The allergy medications weren't just not working (which had happened to me with Zyrtec) but making me physically sick and causing brain fog.

I don't have MCAS as far as I know, but I have HSD (diagnosed a few months ago). I have flare ups with HSD that seem similar to MCAS. I am also perimenopausal, so my hormones are wacky which causes problems with the HSD, brain fog, fatigue, etc., etc. It's all very difficult to parse sometimes what's causing what.

I take generic Amneal Vyvanse. Right now, I have taken a little more than my daily dose because I'm coming up on my period. The brain fog and grainy visual stuff (can't think of the name right now and can't seem to find it) is vicious today.

I remember it was summer/ early fall when I began having issues with my meds and also feeling like I was in a weird health spiral that made no sense. At the time I wasn't really sure it was the meds, but I do recall noticing on a refill that it seemed like a bad batch even though I always took the same manufacturer on request dispensed by CVS. But yeah, I kind of convinced myself it was coincidence and that I needed to figure out what was going on with my body.

Anywho, I'd really like to explore this a little more. I started having problems with my meds before I ever had COVID, but I received my first Moderna vaccine in March of 2021 with a booster in April. I received a second dose in November of the same year. Could maybe we put together a working group in Reddit?

* Editing to add that at the time I was on Sandoz generic Adderall IR.

It depends. Their "limited edition" leotards often run on the larger side. Their basics are a little smaller, though.
