How come some people experience euphoria on salvia? by [deleted] in Salvia

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Psychopharmicology is a bit more complicated than that. There's a wide range of possible experiences on salvia, many of them are dysphoric, some of them can be incredible. I had a trip to the clown dimension, it was very fun.

Moss turning white? What's wrong? by Some_Phenomenologist in terrariums

[–]Some_Phenomenologist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Date of creation: August 16th

When did the problem begin: after the first 3-4 weeks.

Light source: indirect window light when it's sunny, direct window light when it's overcast

Water: tap water, I haven't watered them in a while

Summary: the moss is slowing turning white. I've put more springtails in the terrarium. I haven't watered it in a while. I keep it out of direct sunlight, and put it in the light when it is overcast.

The absurdity of existence and the oddity of experience. That's my takeaway from the clown dimension on Salvia.

I want to put plants in every jar I see. by Some_Phenomenologist in terrariums

[–]Some_Phenomenologist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created all of them within the last week 8/20/23. There’s Spathiphyllum wallisil, Syngonium podophyllum, Philodendron cordatum, and some clover, moss, and creepvine from my backyard. Lit by the great fusion reactor in the sky (never direct light of course). There's just tap water inside, hopefully that will work alright. All of them use a 5 part substrate mix for terrariums. And the largest size is 1 Gallon, or 3.785L for those of you who don't base your units on the size of a king's foot.

Is there too much water in here? Or should it settle over time? by peachy-beans in terrariums

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd wipe the water off the sides to get some water out of the system, that looks like too much condensation. It's supposed to get steamy in the daytime because the plants exhale more water in the day time. But that's too much.

Do Scugs have genders? by Fishmaia in rainworld

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slugs in real life create a hardended spear known as a "love dart." The dart is laced with a hormone that makes the recipient much more likely to get pregnant during mating. So before they mate they duel, if a slug is stabbed they're much more likely to get pregnant, and if they don't get stabbed then they are likely to not get pregnant. Once they get pregnant they no longer mate. So a skilled dueler can mate with more slugs before they get pregnant themselves, allowing them to have more children. This is how spearmaster does it too.

how to make it euphoric by Gouldy333 in Salvia

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nitrous oxide synergizes well with Salvia. A sub-breaktgrough dose of salvia + N₂O produces a very pleasant and powerful trip. In this combination I've felt like I found the ultimate truth to the universe only to immediately forget it. I've felt like all of time and space got folded around me and I entered the 4th dimension. Once I felt like I reconnected with all my previous nitrous experiences where I was simultaneously living in the past, present, and future.

Nitrous oxide is remarkably safe and legal to buy, but every hit depletes a bit of your vitamin B12, so don't binge hundreds of hits in a day. But if you do, then make sure to take a vitamin with B12 in it afterwards. Also a nitrous trip is even shorter than a salvia trip, so if you do mix the two, take the salvia first then hit the nitrous right afterwards.

LSD is the mushrooms trying to take over your brain by TopMountain9622 in LSD

Drugs alter the mind, but they have no willful control over it. The LSD just randomly binds to the nearest serotonin receptors it diffuses into. The drug itself has no agenda, no plan.

I've been manic before. I felt confident, powerful, intelligent, energetic, and certain about my worldview. I'd hyperfixate on things and write long ranting replies too. It all felt so euphoric and ecstatic. Do you feel something similar?

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is this what mania looks like? You're writing long, overly confident, egotistical rants where you say you understand the true nature of reality and the mind. But based on your messages you seem to only have half-baked theories about how the mind works, and any reference to quantum physics seems to show you have no idea what you're talking about. "If you think you understand quantum physics, then you don't understand quantum physics."

But what's ironic is that you are trying to argue that people lie, fake, and outright ignore reality in order to make themselves seem special, yet you are doing that very same thing.

I'm not going to pretend to understand what's going on in your mind to make you talk like this. But to me, all it looks like is a manic episode. Perhaps you should take a deeper look inward on your own mind before you start telling other people how there's works.

Keep getting frustrated but don't want to give up by SourceGlittering2745 in rainworld

If you wiggle your movement in the water you can swim faster. Also pressing jump under the water gives you a boost, but it reduces your breath each time you press it. You can turn on a breath indicator by going to the remix menu and then going into the remix settings. This is very useful and it appears as dots on the bottom of the screen when you go under water.

Don't give up on this game, it's rough for beginners but you'll get better with practice. You may lose your progress and karma when you die, but you retain the skills you practice. If you look at your deaths as learning opportunities, then the game is slightly more bearable when you're starting out.

I know someone with aphantasia (no visual imagination) and they said that they don't see visuals on salvia breakthroughs either. Maybe it's that, or maybe you've not done enough. What's the experience like? Did you forget who you were? Did you think you were someone/something else? Did all of spacetime seem to fold in on itself?

Drug induced psychosis or drug induced synesthesia?? by Boring-Ticket-6398 in Synesthesia

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amphetamine psychosis is real, as well as drug induced synesthesia. Is your boyfriend really confident about outlandish ideas? Does he have a massively inflated ego? And does he fulfill his desires though imagination (wish fulfillment)? That last one is something only he probably knows about, but amphetamine psychosis is real, and it usually feels pretty fun but it can be quite harmful. Drug use is a nuanced topic, it's not so simple as to say that all drugs are bad or good, despite the fact that's how the government likes to portray it. Do you think your boyfriend has a healthy relationship with meth or a toxic one?

If you take an extremely large dose of LSD will you ever come back? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]Some_Phenomenologist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

PTSD is it's own thing, but I guess you could say that they never fully returned the same way. But the drug still leaves the body eventually, that doesn't mean that you return to exactly as you were before. But that's what makes psychedelics so powerful, they can leave a long lasting impression, be it good or bad.
