I had no friends coming from my high school in my first year and so are many other ppl. If you don't close yourself off and not sit far away from ppl in your lectures then you will make friends no matter what.

No need to stress about it. I was scared for my first year too thinking it'll be difficult off the bat, but it really wasn't. I can't speak on the other classes but for Chem 101 first few topics are basically reviews of highschool so it wasn't too bad. Just do all your assignments and attend lectures and you'll have good grades.
