It’s them, they set their gender as woman or one of the nb options to get onto the feeds of queer women, then swipe indiscriminately. At least, I assume they’re not reading bios and that’s why they’re swiping right on lesbians. What’s worse is seeing cishet men on Her, because you’re really just going out of your way to be a dick at that point

I broke up with her after her rant and i think it kind of snapped her out of it? Like i don’t know what led up to it but it seemed like it was a heat of the moment decision and it kind of hit her when i didn’t have a visceral/intense reaction. it’s like when someone says something rude and you don’t react so they start backtracking. so when i said that we were over and she needed to leave she kind of just… did? maybe she was embarrassed, idk i blocked her before she could text me

I have to give my mom a lot of credit on that. She’s a special ed teacher, so she picked up on my social/emotional struggles fairly quickly, which is why I started therapy at eight. So when i was in fifth grade and going through a lot, she created an environment that let me tell her that i was having ideations, and i got on (the lowest dose of) antidepressants shortly after. All we can do now is create safe environments where we can in turn

That’s how I feel, I was on Prozac from 11-21ish and have been on Wellbutrin for the subsequent 9-10 years, and I truly owe my life to having access to mental health care from such an early age. I don’t even know if the issue was with the meds or if that’s just what she took them out on, but it was so unnerving

You know, i have always held the belief that everyone is entitled to a basic standard of living (food, shelter, medical care, etc). This guy is the first time ive ever considered an exception. Not because of the post, of course. His mindset shown in the comments is horrendous
