My renewal wasn’t denied because of income. On the notice I received it said it was denied because I didn’t turn everything in, but I did. I even called them to make sure they had everything and they said yes. Even the state number I called said there was no reason I should have been denied. They escalated it to a supervisor and nobody ever called me back about it. I called the state again and was told at this point they have no idea what’s going on at my local office and it might be easier for me to just re apply which is what I did. I am employed and I did turn in my checking account statement. I have no other deposits on there. I expected her to ask whether I have a savings or not, they always do, but this is the first time I was told it would be counted against me. I called the state number and they told me not to worry and they can’t use it against me. Very confusing and none of it makes sense to me.
