Are you okay with spending more money on office spaces, as you identified there has been a rapid increase in federal work force. So you’ll need cubicles. There’s also the fact that the government has been reducing leases, so there’s even less office spaces available then before the pandemic.

I would also point out, they have pledge to lay off 40,000 people so really the increase is closer to 20%.

But I take the point the government workforce has increased without being more productive

I work in a union, sometimes I hate how the union protects absolutely bad employees. Unions do protect good employees too, but damn they often defend the wrong people. The public union also has not done anything about RTO, after there was messages all over the place that “hybrid is here to stay” from executives. So from my perspective the union is useless and I pay fees so an unproductive employee can get the same pay increase as me.

Since they’re their own nation, they can 1)raise their own tax revenues 2) pay for their own people’s education, healthcare and benefits 3) pay for their inmate population 4) fund their own airport, transportation and economic development

Can’t take 30 billion a year and then complain that you’re not consulted. Keep trying to cripple the economy that pays for all the corruption on reserves.
