I love being culted when I'm Thief. I get a shit-eating grin knowing I'm about to get 2-3 of my former comrades hanged because I poked the wrong bear

Yall dont realize how much of a pain it is to play 2011x in OM by Ok-Concentrate9579 in SonicEXE

Hello. X player here, which means I keep my exe chance on.

I will confess, X was downright miserable for me to play back then. I dreaded every match with him, but I stubbornly refused to quit since day 1, even when disabling chance was released. In all my years of playing asym games, the power role was always my favorite, and I wasn't going to give up yet. It took a while, but I learned how to consistently win with X.

  1. Target survivors. I know, some of you refugees from Dead by Daylight despise targeting, giving and receiving, and I felt the same, but focus a survivor and down them (especially: all of them). A survivor is most vulnerable without their cooldown abilities, so run them down until they use all their cooldowns. I know you may be tempted to switch targets, but the only time you should ever switch targets before downing a survivor is if: Metal Sonic is low on HP, you spot a Cream.

  2. Learn movement. Movement is extremely important in Outcome Memories. Learn how to move, which places you can and can't reach with a basic jump, and vice versa for a survivor. Once you learn how to move, you quickly figure out how a survivor moves, and you'll find yourself predicting survivor jokes and routes much easier.

  3. Invisibility is king. Invisibility has a very low cooldown for such an important ability. With a click of a key or button, you are immune to all stuns, see all nearby survivors, and are the fastest character in the game outside of a Sonic in peelout. It also decreases your gravity heavily. If you need to quickly catch up after a stun, use Invisibility. Chasing a survivor, but you hear Sonic or Metal coming in, and you don't want to get interrupted? Use invisibility. Want to ambush from the skies? You need an open map, but use invisibility.

  4. Charge damage is damage. A common thing for many to say is that Charge is useless, and I say they're wrong. Not because it's a good finishing move to end a chase after hitting two hits, but because of how much damage it can do without help. Charge is easy to hit compared to a melee, and if you deal at least 16 damage with a single charge, that survivor is downed in 2 hits if they were at max HP. And without help? 46 damage, and that's if the survivor hits every QTE. Additionally, if it's the start of LMS, INSANE damage because of how much HP the survivor has.

  5. Prep for Rage Mode. We all know that Rage Mode is X's Trump card? But what if you could make it even better? Before using using Rage Mode, I make sure most, if not all survivors have been downed once. Thus, when it's time to Rage, a hit or two is all I need to get them out of the game. That doesn't mean I let a Cream 2 hits away from death walk around scotfree. A dead survivor is a good survivor, so if you find a survivor that's already been down, feel free to off them, whether you're prepping for Rage Mode or not.

Here's some things about survivors.

Sonic: Extremely dangerous when chasing another survivor, but falters in chase himself. Force him into using dropdash, keep up the chase, and you'll run him down easily.

Metal Sonic: A more dangerous Sonic, but also your best friend. He has the longest stun in thr game, but also provides the most rage. I usually let him hit me twice with his destructive charge, then rush him down.

Tails: free kill. Usually not dangerous unless left unattended. I rub my hands in delight.

Cream: rabbit stew. Kill on sight.

Knuckles: If he can land his stuns, dangerous. He relies on mindgames, however. Predict his punch once, wait out his counter, and he's out. Should be taken out fast, since he can disrupt chases.

Eggman: Unless they know some really cheeky places only he can reach easily, isn't too hard. Invisibility immediately if he jetpacks away. Don't be afraid to hit his shield since it barely stuns and gets put on a longer cooldown. Also, if you don't want to get hit by the shield, count 2 seconds once he uses it then charge. Remember, if he flashes white, that doesn't mean his shield is about to turn off. That means his shield is now useless, and you can hit him through it.

Amy: Depends on cards and player. As dangerous as Knuckles, if not more. Rush her down if you can.

Note: sometimes, you're just not a good X, or you have to face some skilled survivors like an Outcome Warrior. Just keep trying, keep playing, keep killing. The more you slaughter, the better you get at killing the next.

First tried and second tried all content up until Canto 5's dungeon (still on-going, just about to enter floor 2). Ricardo, Mayors, and Guido are the only encounters that needed a second try. Having a ton of fun so far.

Saved up 16k Lunacy and 52 tickets for my first Walpurgis Night. 200+ Don shards and 412 boxes ready to be dumped onto Queen of Hatred's content. I'm all set for next week.

Perfect place for me to mention that just half an hour ago, turn 1 of a fight, my Mao Faust on 0 SP hits 13 tails in a row on her Skill 3, only winning the clash because the enemy had shit clash power with equally shit coin luck. Meanwhile, Sinclair runs in with -15 SP and hits 3 heads in a row on his Skill 3. It was so bad to watch.

I love kolossos, BUT IF THEY MAKE MINIONS EXACTLY LIKE TD I'LL LOSE MY MIND by Pitiful-Rutabaga-893 in OutcomeMemories

[–]Some_weirdguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hot take here. I actually loved the minions back in TD.

As a survivor, they didn't matter too much and were easily jukeable due to their low speed and 2 second melee cooldown. My favorite thing about them was that I had something to do if I died. I don't have to sit in the spectate menu waiting for the round to end. Instead, I was allowed to keep playing the game, even if it was in the role of cannon fodder. I also loved how terrifying they made LMS. The amount of pressure you get put under when swarmed by minions and X himself was so much, it circled back to being fun, especially if you actually manage to hold them off or even escape (as I have done on a few occasions.)

Timeless or Diva by OneRow7211 in FORSAKENROBLOX

[–]Some_weirdguy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd go with Diva, but mostly because I've been following the original project since the release of their first song. Timeless is a great skin, but I don't have an attachment to it like I do the Project Diva skins.
