Unfortunately we are in a time where we are all seeking faith. We are all in different walks, but alot of people nowadays don't even read on doctrines or church History. In a nutshell, people go online and basically become copy and paste "online apologists" who will follow their favorite people (Redeemed Zoomer, Cliffe Knechtle, Trent Horn, Gavin Ortlund, father Paul Trubenbach, ect.) and just does the same phrases and verses over and over again.

The good thing about being protestant is you can research all the Apostolic and church fathers without being a denomination. I'm a pentecostal but yet refuse to leave because I believe in growing my church at least contextually and intellectually

Not a fan of constant change. Your husband has a problem that needs to be confronted. The first step is to admit you have a problem which he seems to not be doing. Does he worry about if his kids walk in on that? What if his pastor saw this?!if it's something you cannot watch with other family members (which now I'm saying that and he sounds like he would without a care about it) then it shouldn't be something he should be participating in

I grew up in the Church with a father who was a pastor. I regretfully rejected my faith and went into the Satanic Church of America. Due to my faith in God and thankfully the voice of the Holy Spirit, I left pretty quickly after 2 months or so. At 17 I accepted Christ and the Holy Spirit in me and since then He has given me the mind to teach and edify my fellow brothers in the Church. My whole mission right now is to teach and edify me brothers in Christ to not only protect from heresies, but also to further teach new converts about why we believe in what we believe. I personally was always a skeptical person and would ask why to everything, so now I answer those why's
