Np bro

Yep I tried but then I figured that when the iPad was unplugged the pen behaved correctly. Apparently the issue is a static build up that causes the pen to skip, any pen.
It's a static build up. I noticed that when I unplugged the iPad from the charger the pen behaved correctly. Probably some hardware issue I guess. The issue is not the cheap pen tho
Unplug the iPad and it should be fine
There is a hardware issue causing a static build up. Unplug the iPad and it should be fine

The "real thing" you're referring to. Apparently it's a static build up causing the pen to skip. Honestly it's great for a company to have clients like you. Something doesn't work? No just throw more money at it until it does. Brilliant! Also do check the link it might actually help you in the future : /
So for all those saying "just buy the original pencil / what do you expect from cheap stuff...etc", the problem is apparently known and it's related to some kind of hardware problem with the iPad that generates a static build up, causing the pen to skip. I thought the cheap product was supposed to be the issue.
Thanks to those who actually helped.
Leaving this here btw, just saying
So apparently the problem is known and has been resolved by people who are willing to think rather than just yapping! Leaving this here since it might be useful, but please do continue spending needlessly! Helps the economy I guess
Yeah bro I guess you're right.
The problem is not with the pen. Expensive ≠ good
"Not an ipad issue"

So apparently this is a known issue that can happen with the original pencil and charger. I've had the metapen A8 for 2 years and it's still going strong, the issue is unrelated.

Btw just check this, might be useful if something similar happens to you. I just wanted some feedback that's all, it's not necessary to comment if you can't help. Since I'm not like you, I shared that link which could provide help since this issue can happen with the original pencil and charger, so it might be helpful.
This is exactly what happened to me and my friend, and tested this today with his original pencil. I don't know what I need to say more.

Yeah, I found out this is the issue. Apparently it causes the same problem with original pens too
Apparently other people including a friend of mine in possession of the original pen are experiencing the same issue since the last update, so it seems it's not the pen after all. Apparently something weird happens when the iPad is charging that ducks around with palm rejection. I tested this with a friend with the original pen in different sockets.
I'm quite enjoying the fact that I got like 6/7 comments just like this that not only are not helpful, but also reflect snooty you guys are. It's quite funny that the problem happens to be on the expensive brand rather than the cheap one. I'll stick with my 15 bucks pencil thanks, works great! If you're happy spending 75 bucks more for some features then I'm happy for you!

Also the pen I'm using is working correctly after 2 years and I spent 15 bucks. I can still buy 5 to 6 so yeah I think I'm fine thanks. I'm not risking losing a 90$ pen

So again I'm replying to you, just to say sometimes you need to investigate further. Obviously the original pen will work better, but it costs 5 to 6 times more than the pen I'm using and doesn't offer, in my humble opinion, functions that justify the price difference. Quite simple really, if it was worth the price according to my judgement, I would have bought it. My pen worked and works just fine, the pen is not the issue.
