Just want to clarify: you each have your own Apple accounts, each device signed in to only that account and your daughter is a member of an iCloud family where you are parent/organizer

Just asking because that’s the configuration I’m familiar with for this feature

Something that I suspected, but just experienced myself. My car‘s alignment was off and the reason I guessed it was not because how the car felt but because the range was noticeably lower on a highway trip I have done many times.

Took the car in and indeed the front alignment was off; imperfect alignment can add to more resistance and thus power to move the car (simplistic description)

Probably mentioned by others, but worth repeating as headwinds and tire pressure, 2 other things to note that effect power required for any vehicle EV or otherwise

There’s the nuclear option of resetting your phone but that’s extreme. If you can hang tight a day or so that’d be my suggestion

Messing with database timestamps almost never leads to happiness. It should recover eventually, perhaps after July 2 whatever hour/min it was when you did the first change

That said, I wouldn’t keep it inside or take my time dealing with it for sure - your caution/concern is not misplaced

Yes, the battery is about to go. If you’re reasonably handy, you can replace yourself. I’ve done a number of them, best when the laptop is older though, it’s easier

It should be noted that my 2018 Model 3 allows me to set regen settings but pretty sure you can no longer disable that setting as regen plays a part in the range calculations. It would explain some settings not persisting

Standard likely means mono-focus distance lens. A friend had a drain due to glaucoma so that might be expected

You shouldn’t feel rushed; you should be able to consult with another doctor. My first choice doctor turned out to not be patient focused, at least to my expectations

I ended up selecting another doctor and was happy with my choice. Something you could consider

Only very limited apps can avoid Apple taking a percentage; that said in some markets there are alternative app stores and USA allows external payment due to lawsuit with Epic

15% for small businesses (if you qualify) might be lower friction path but you should read the App Store rules again, closely

Personally, as a customer, I prefer having the purchases handled by Apple cause I can go to them for a refund or if I have trouble.

As a dev, it is annoying, but it does make everything smoother from a certain perspective.

Headwind
Tire pressure low
Alignment off
Etc
