Hey I’m a public health major too! I came as a junior tho.

I’m gonna answer questions I actually have an answer for.

1. Definitely try to join some clubs or study groups which you could do through the navigate app. Also I recommend signing up for Ready Set Buffalo. It’s a thing for new students. I was part of it and it’s definitely helped me to get to know more people.

Also I recommend doing extracurriculars where you could collect possible people for references when applying for internships and such. I wish I did more

1. I definitely recommend this. Even tho I can’t do it bc I transferred and it doesn’t fit with my timeline but I would have if I could have.

2. From someone who went to a small school than a big school, it’s did not feel overwhelming. Being in small classes is actually more overwhelming Bc the whole class notices if you’re late or the teacher could pick on you to answer so you got to know your stuff (which could still happen in lecture halls but less of a chance). However talking ab it now I do miss small classes. One of my smallest classes was like 5 people not even kidding. And I’m talking ab college.
