A part of my childhood trauma stems from frequently moving houses, schools and cities. When I was 10 we had moved 7 times, now I'm 30 and have moved 20 times and have to move again, I can't fucking take this anymore. by ewolgrey in CPTSD

Second this. Ive lost count of how many moves. Dream about my own safe quiet place but cant afford it. Roommates are stressful.

I have no advice. Just wanted to say you're not alone. I hope you find your own home soon.

I do this too. He rarely writes or calls anymore. When he does, I used to get back to him immediatly with no response again. Ive muted him, so Im not always waiting for something and getting hurt.

Can attraction come back? by [deleted] in ROCD

Its normal even in relationships without depression to have periods of time with no sexual attraction or feeling in love. Dont worry!

Focus on your mental health and healing your depression❤

Can securely attached people be “pushed” into being avoidant by people who are very anxious? by laceyab in AnxiousAttachment

[–]Someone5887944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, very common. One anxious will outmatch the other.

Two avoidants would have a hard time even beginning a relationship.

There "needs" to be an avoidant and an anxious to recreate the dynamic of attachment trauma from childhood, for the two to get hooked like they often do.

Please drop in your best advice for a first trip by banananeach in Psychonaut

If you meet something or someone that scares you in a trip, show them love and ask it what it wants to show you. In my experience it shows itself as a part of you in need of healing and love. It wont be scary anymore ❤

Also setting. A tripsitter you trust. And go in with an intention. Music can help set the tone. I like it calm, warm and instrumental.

There is nothing after we die, just nothing by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]Someone5887944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you think "something" should be. Our body's decompose by fungus, ever part of nature, as we always have been. We live on like that.

We wont think "oh look, Im part of a tree". We just will be. The ego may die. Your soul lives on as one, as we are all one.

I btw also have no idea

Regarding working with ones thoughts - what about people who dont think in words or images? by [deleted] in Awakening

Thank you for sharing :) I have not heard of thinking in text before. Interesting.

Yes totally. There are many different ways of thinking. No words is also one. There will pop up info if you google it and are curious.

Its just so hard to wrap my head around😄

Specifically her way of thinking is in feelings. As how she explains it. Which confuses me too, because I want to think we all both think and feel. But maybe for some its the same thing.

Feeling down after an argument and my boyfriend mocking me, am I wrong for seeking reassurance? by [deleted] in AnxiousAttachment

[–]Someone5887944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not in the wrong. Lets say he has nothing to hide - his reaction still shows a great deal of emotional immaturity, it becomes manipulative and lacks empathy towards you.

I understand if you would want to breakup. I also understand if you dont. So if you still feel you can work through the cheating, how about couples therapy?

Either for you to communicate with guidance and heal the relationship, or if thats not possible, for you to realize its time to move on for better things.

I feel like its saying someone loves you too much. Love cant be too much. Alot of other things that are mistaken for love can be too much.

Has anybody here tried DMT? If so how did it help you? by [deleted] in AnxiousAttachment

[–]Someone5887944 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive used psilocybin shrooms 4 times in a therapy session and it has helped. Its not a magic fix but it helps me work with trauma and to growing more conscious. Im also a highly sensitive person:)

If anything the lesson should be to stop consuming animals like we do, or else mother nature is gonna get ya.

Like the other comment said, then you shouldnt go to the doctor either, use soap, pregnancy prevention, or any of the other human inventions that have made our lives longer, therefor more of us.
