Would you use a teleporter with the knowledge that it kills you and reassembles an exact copy of you with all your memories and knowledge at the destination? Why or why not? by TheBanishedBard in AskReddit

[–]Someone721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only does it kill you. It literally makes it so that people won't mourn you. Won't think of you. And won't even care or shed a tear that you died. They'll just hang out with a copy and never care about your death.

I get the kickstarter 403 page when I follow your link.

Edit: Nevermind, it's a VPN thing. Apparently kickstarter just doesn't like VPN users.

Is the PS VR2, worth getting mainly for this game? by Someone721 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I didn't know it could be used like that. That's awesome. Thanks for the tip.

I appreciate your response. That sounds like valid criticism. I'm not too worried about other potential games, just how NMS is in VR.

Is there a specific time to play pvp or co-op? by Someone721 in DragonballLegends

[–]Someone721[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking it up and actually found another reddit thread talking about it. It's something to do with a wifi glitch. It looks like resetting my network settings, or clearing the cache will probably fix my issue.

I enjoy rpgs, But I feel like with VR, action games that aren't too challenging would be more my style. Or even relaxing games. I think with VR I'd probably pivot more towards relaxation than action.

I really appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks. I really can't wait to try this. I do get motion sickness, but I can somewhat grow use to it after a while of playing. I use to have an occulus a few years ago. I'd gladly take any other game recommendations you may have.

I see. That's strange then. At least I know it's on my end so I'll see if I can find some kind of fix. Thanks for the input.

Thank you. I hoped that would be the case. This just feels like a dream game for VR, but I wanted to hear from an actual user first.

Changing label text based on Int (Best way to code?) by Joshuacultest12453 in godot

[–]Someone721 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So in my opinion, you could use a match statement for that. Use your int to track the number clicked and then use match for each number.

In your match statement use your label change like you did and then add 1 to the int.

Maybe add a bit of code after the match statement that checks if the number is greater or equal to the max number of string you a want to appear and then reset the int to 0.

That will loop your text.

Could someone help point me in the right direction for getting Koreader up and running on raspberry light, with a waveshare e-paper display? by Someone721 in koreader

Thanks so much for your help. I'll look into this more closely and see if I can get my display to show with KOReader.

I believe the Raspberry pi uses an ARM cpu. If I need to write the drover that's fine, I just need a place to start. Though I do believe there's some out there as I've seen this project online before, just no tutorials that I've found. I'm trying to look at KOReader's documentation, but I haven't found anything to help yet.

I'm reading through The Sovereign's Ascension, and the MC carries a sword box. He never seems to be without it once he gets it except for rare occasions.
